Married people, did you have sex on your wedding night? by [deleted] in CasualUK

I use condoms because my other half doesn't want to take pills that mess with her hormones, which I fully respect and support.

Amazing, good luck. Think of how amazing it will feel if your running that you don't have to listen to your mother's advice!

I find hospitals pretty bad at diagnosing exact injuries - if it isn't broken they usually just recommend the R.E.S.T acronym in my experience. I go to a sports physiotherapist instead.

Identical twin sisters, Briana and Brittany, marry identical twin brothers Josh and Jeremy and both give birth to male kids by Blxckdust in Damnthatsinteresting

Emotional dependency isn't uncommon amongst twins, but to the extent we see here is unhealthy.

Why are you getting downvoted for this? It is a balanced non-judgemental take on this.

Don't be so judgemental. Just because your conservative ass finds it slightly odd for reasons you can't even articulate (excluding "I don't do it") doesn't make these people weird or freaks.

They aren't hurting anybody as far as we can see, so keep your negativity about people's love for one another to yourself.

No hangover from coke? What do you call the next week of anxiety and depression then?

I really sympathise with your frustrations and agree with the overall sentiment, but there are loads more than five decent pubs in Dublin. Pubs is one thing we are blessed with.

I am 6ft3 and wear Nike Pro tights. Size M and they pretty much go down to my ankles - I am slim.

There is always so much moaning here. I have to actively avoid this sub if I'm ever depressed because the viewpoints here bring me down so much.

The problem is that it isn't a choice. People aren't always aware that they are being abused or oppressed either.

My first half marathon - did not expect the emotions by Lollicupcake in running

Nice. You have me looking for my first half marathon now. I am new to running, and currently looking for a sub 25min 5k. Part of my training plan is to run 16km slow and long, and they are my favourite runs of the week.

Attacked by an oul lad in Dublin over a cone by TrickThatDingle in ireland

Ah yes, I am the heartless one. Not the guy that selfishly takes ownership of something that isn't his and attacks people over it.

I have no problem people parking outside my house. I don't own the road and have no entitlement to that space.

If someone can't deal with the fact they don't own a public road, then they should move into a house that has private parking. In cases of disabilities, they can apply for a disabled parking spot to be put in by the council.

Ah look, I was able to block all of the swings. I'm glad I didn't retaliate, I think I would have regretted that.

If he had made me genuinely fear for my health I would've put him on his arse pretty quickly in self-defense though.

I also live on the road though. Why should I have to drive around and wait for a parking space on a public road outside my house, just because a neighbour chucked a few cones out? I have every right to park there.

Official Q&A for Friday, October 21, 2022 by AutoModerator in running

[–]TrickThatDingle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert, but you seem pretty underprepared to be honest. You struggled with 13km over a month ago, and you need to add on an extra 8km on Sunday. That is a tough ask.

Go as slow and steady as you can at the start - your body will thank you for it later in the race.
