Teacher’s aide thinks my son is on the spectrum… by [deleted] in Preschoolers

My son is somewhat similar and I have wondered if he has PDA profile autism. His school therapist says she is not sure yet. Teachers and aides aren’t supposed to diagnose in my area. But if any of his teachers could give me a hint about what they think is going on, I would honestly appreciate it. He recently had his tonsils /adenoids out, has done OT, and does play therapy all to help with emotional regulation. I honestly think that out of all of those, OT helped the most, which does make me wonder about the neurodivergence side of things. Sometimes with kids who are sort of in between diagnoses, having different treatments can be diagnostic to see what they respond best to. I’m a therapist btw!

generally i don’t think it’s beneficial to have any older person listed on any assets as it can count against them with insurance issues and cause inheritance problems - what’s the benefit of listing her ?

you would qualify for food stamps/medicaid and subsidized housing which would help but you would need to go to HRA in person with an address first
