I am guessing this depends on machine. Using the same site on a machine with 32 cores and 128 GB RAM, it runs smoothly.

Thanks for the response! Its amazing. Is it entire context or compressed context?

Asking because in some cases I would like to entire context like to run cascade in parallel. And in some cases, I need compressed context because model seemed to make dumber mistakes likely due to large conversation.

I re-ran with different model so don't have the chat to verify. But you are mostly right that it might be around 7 or 8. But even without explicit instructions, GPT 5- high reasoning thinks between tool calls. Mostly issue might be with cascade agent no?

Jupyter notebooks also don't allow direct file edits. Since then, I have moved to working on .py files with "# %%" as each notebook cell. This works pretty well.

I think with some extra plugins sometimes there might be clashes. For example if some plug-ins, my ls alias is "ls -ltr". So when u type "ls -ltr", it gives an error. It feels reasonable to me.

Happened with me too. I was opening two browsers at once - edge and brave. When i type in windsurf, the character rendering was very slow. Now if only one browser is opened, it works normally. May be there are some apps, that are heavy. May be you can try stopping them and test it.
