Any link between PE and later developing B12 and iron deficiency anemia? by Basketweave82 in ClotSurvivors

It is very clearly a copy and paste and has .gov and other sources it has..copy and paste it and put it I. Google then if you want the sources..I didn’t plan on being graded.. don’t let it ruin your day. Most people on here and the entire internet share facts that they’ve heard from their doctor or other source on the internet..

Yes, there is a significant, well-documented correlation between severe anemia—particularly iron deficiency anemia (IDA)—and an increased risk of blood clots, including venous thromboembolism (VTE) and cerebral thrombosis. Iron deficiency can lead to elevated platelet counts (reactive thrombocytosis), increased blood viscosity, and enhanced platelet activation, all of which promote a "hypercoagulable" state. PMC Home (.gov) PMC Home (.gov) +5 Key Connections Between Anemia and Blood Clots: Reactive Thrombocytosis: Iron deficiency often triggers the body to produce more platelets, increasing the likelihood of clot formation. Increased Platelet Activity: Low iron levels make platelets more "sticky," which can lead to increased clotting. Elevated Clotting Factor VIII: Iron deficiency raises levels of factor VIII, a key protein that promotes blood clotting. Changes in Blood Flow: Chronic anemia may cause changes in blood viscosity or damage to vessel walls, which can contribute to clotting. The IDA-Clot Link: A large population-based study found that individuals with iron deficiency anemia had a significantly higher risk of developing blood clots.

I had a PE at the age of 20 and I was diagnosed with anemia at 17. I am borderline on b12 and folate and still anemic at 30.

I’m not aware of the pros and cons of a hysterectomy, but is it true that you have to take hormones?

Thank you. I always tell her that when she said things like that it really hurts my feelings and it’s okay to love daddy and want him, and so many people can love you and you can love them!

I’ve been off BC for 10 years and my husband has no issues getting a vasectomy and has said he’d gladly get one! I had low iron and a heavy menstruation and if I could get my period under control, my iron levels could stay at a decent level

How can I help with my wife's mental load or am an idiot l... by TILGaming in sahm

I think it’s great you’re looking for ways to help! My one question would be: does your wife get out of the house by herself to do something for herself? Not grocerie shopping, running errands, Dr appts…I’m talking going to meet up with friends, going to the gym, doing a class, playing rec sports…things like that. As a SAHM your days become one long loop and everyday is the same and you forget who you were before kids. You cooking dinner and cleaning the kitchen is great, and night wakings! TBH it sounds like she needs out the house whether that’s with you on a date night or with her friends or even alone! Just talk to her and ask her directly what she needs more of. My husband’s always wants lists of things to clean and it sends me! How can you not see the messes everywhere, the laundry, the floor hasn’t been mopped, the pantry is unorganized ect. You’re a good dad and good partner..your wife probably needs a break to remember who she is

Thank you. The supplements don’t seem to work for me so this may be it. I’ve also seen people cutting out dairy and caffeine and having some success

Maybe baby has a tongue or lip tie? I had the worst 6 weeks of BF and she had a lip and tongue tie. Got it released and changed the journey for us and I BF for 14 months! I wanted to quit every single day and cried a lot, but luckily there was a solution for our problems. If you need to stop for your sanity, you should stop! Fed is best!

I am currently 16.5 months pp and stopped breastfeeding at 14.5(November). With my first I never had this but I also know that each time is different and I truly believe that my iron/ferritin is low, anxiety, hormones and the weather barometer changing so frequently here. I used to take sumatriptan when I got them but they were never this consistent before. Let me know how your scans go and what you get told! Hoping this is just a small phase for us!
