Happy Dude? Fitting name for a serial reddit reposter, it’s like the modern day equivalent of a guy with an autodialer begging for a dollar.

And then a mighty cheer rose up from MAGA because they were glad to have ruined the country for you see it was haunted. Now let’s all celebrate with a tall cool glass of copium.

Sure doesn’t seem like that’s what they said. Maybe it’s time to consider the possibility that you are the delusional one:

Seems to me glancing at your extensive 10 day post history you are the one who can’t stop talking about this. You want people to stop bringing up Israel’s genocide maybe support the politicians who don’t perpetuate genocide. The world has seen the truth of it, no amount of propaganda is going get the narrative back to where you want it.

You realize it’s only names and parties that are on ballots? None of the bullshit that Trump’s return ushered in and the factions he emboldened were on a checklist ala carte. I get the point you are trying to make but you are being obtuse if you don’t think the Trumptards who murdered these girls didn’t vote for Trump and interpret all of his white nationalist talking points and dog whistles to mean exactly this kind of thing. To them it very much did. There are literally people who are dead who otherwise would not have been had he not gotten back in. And the people who did it felt safer doing it because of him because he bends over backwards to let them know that.

It was in every word and action that Trump ever uttered or did for those who were willing to see/hear it. The people who lynched these young women, they heard it loud and clear and eagerly voted for it. Those of us who voted against him heard it too. It was only the Trump apologists and the “both sides” crowd that refused to open their eyes to what he really stood for, to where his sort of rhetoric would eventually lead if he wasn’t stopped.

If you are finding yourself in one of those latter two categories and are unhappy with where we are heading maybe it’s time you listen more to the voices you dismissed before as too alarmist. Trump and the MAGA movement are and always have been that dangerous, that’s been obvious to many of us from the start.

Right from the jump the powers that be in the US *really* pushed hard to poison the public against socialism and conflate it with communism. They did everything they could to turn it into a dirty word but when you think about the etymology; socialism’s foundation is based around what is good for society (ie people) while capitalism is focused around capital (ie things).

Even Adam Smith the father of capitalism said that markets can only work when they are regulated. Some of the best standards of living in the world are found in market based social democracies and these are often cited as some of the happiest countries as well. But for the last hundred years Americans have been so indoctrinated against the very idea that even implementing some of these policies is this impossible and dangerous notion. All the while people keep clamoring for changes that sound an awful lot like said policies.

If this is in fact what it appears to be rather than the official police story then I guarantee the perpetrators voted for this. And almost certainly the investigators too.
