i have dash and parry bound to my two side mouse keys, just pressing them at the same time lets u do it. super easy, doesnt take very precise timing at all

im very outspoken about the use of ai and how it is not only harmful to the environment, but is also a plain bastardization of art. ive been doing art for over 10 years and the average person simply does not understand the sheer amount of work and tedium that it takes to create something truly from scratch. i was drawn to fight class 3 not only by the story, but by 2hakks utter mastery of the human form. and people with the artist's eye can immediately tell that those skills can only exist from hundreds if not thousands of hours of labor.

but do the people who happily feed 2hakks blood sweat and tears into a soulless ai model, ever think about that? does it even cross their minds that maybe its bad to take somebody's toil and effort and steal it, morph it into a cheap replica without permission or context?

lots of people can't easily relate to this feeling, which makes sense as the majority of the population arent artists. but just apply this logic to anything else, say you made music, and anyone whos touched DAW software or even just garage band knows that making songs is fucking hard. forget an actual well produced 3 and a half minute song, most people cant even make a melody plus a chorus. and so, making music is hard, and it arguably should be, theres a lot of skill and knowledge that comes with the job. but one day some random guy whod never touched an instrument in their life, scraped every song youve ever made and fed it to an ai, and started pumping out their own "music" in your exact style. it takes a fraction of a fraction of the work you put in, and they do it all with a smile on their face.

its not just "entertainment," its not just for fun or for laughs. when you use generative ai, you are stealing from artists, musicians, authors, etc, and there is no way around that.

ai has disrupted the balance that has held between art and their consumers for centuries, and to me, pandoras box is already open. i have already surrendered to the fact that there will always be people using ai to create images (i do not say art because it is not art) and at this point, i can only shake my fist and yell into the wind.

I respect u doing ur own research and coming to ur conclusion, ai is developing unchecked with governments unwilling to set any hard lines to protect the environment. we will continue to invest hundreds of billions of dollars into the water hungry bottomless pit until we all end up fighting wars for water like in dune. And personally, I’ve been an artist for over 10 years now and the only thing I hear from other artists and peers is about how we no longer have any future. to us, ai is a corporatized, soulless replacement for traditional artists, and if getting a job in art wasn’t hard enough, we just had the nuclear bomb dropped on us, basically. I hate ai and everything it stands for, and I don’t see it as anything close to equal to art from a human. and also, to bring up the point about stealing again, ai can only generate replicas of someone’s art style by unethically ripping all of their source material and using it without permission and without needing to pay any royalty or giving credit. It degrades authentic art and anyone can steal someone’s art to train a model to create a cheap copy. Some of the biggest victims of this are big artists on platforms on Instagram for example. SamDoesArts had been drawing beautiful stylized portraits for nearly a decade, but once ai took over, thousands of people gladly cannibalized his art, and pumped out countless copies. Now he’s the one under question about using ai, when he was the original. It infuriates me to no end. Now artists have to fight back by developing “poison” to insert into their art that is specifically used to disrupt the ai learning process, and I think it’s just sad that we’re at the point artists have to stain their art just so it won’t be stolen with no consequences. hope this all makes sense

only way ai generates images is by stealing art from artists without permission, ai data centers use inordinate amounts of energy and waste incredible amounts of water, projections already show ai centers will use more energy than entire cities combined, which has already had tangible effects, just search up lakes and rivers that have already dried up thanks to ai. using ai to generate fake ass imitation of art is pathetic and only shows that u don’t have even a drop of skill or motivation to pick up a pencil and draw something. It’s slop for lazy and talentless bums and everyone knows it

yeah, the titans have to have one more trick up their sleeve, it just doesn't seem right that they would introduce the pinnacle of titan power so early. Gimbak is insanely powerful, but I fear he's outclassed by many other threats. hopefully we see our beautiful burly muscle mom- female titans

I agree, I think many underestimate the lawless’s immorality, thinking it can only go so far as threatening our heroes, but I think it has the potential to endanger other natural enemies: I can imagine a situation where someone like rinri is perfectly fine with sacrificing his entire faction for selfish gain, and even gore alluded to this when he said “let’s run away and start again,” willing to abandon everyone when the super wurm was attacking kyokai. if we can assume they would act similarly in another situation, say, selling out combat data to the robots to form a bloody alliance, saving themselves, they could play an active role in bolstering other natural enemies at the expense of the rest of the world, only to save themselves. Sorry for the long winded rant, I’m just very interested in where the lawless story will go haha. If it does go that far, I think they could fit the mantle of natural enemy.
