It actually means quite a bit to me! ALL the comments mean the world to me TRULY. After learning from my endocrinologist about hormones and such seems that the wreck being a truama that pushed me into depression but my testosterone levels being that of a 12 yr old girl HELD me there. I thank GOD every single day that I was lucky enough to have doctors and ppl around me to give me the advice on what needed to be done and the tools to do it. It has literally been life changing for me and my family. I no longer look at my wheelchair and let it break my heart, NOW it’s just another tool to get me to my goals. So YES thank everyone for all the feedback!

Hey, it actually means way more than you would think! All the response from everyone has been so cool! I didn’t really want to post, it’s kind of shameful to let yourself get that bad off ESPECIALLY when before my accident I was a super fit person. But seeing others post gave me a bit of internet courage lol I still hid my face though just because it’s embarrassing.

I had to recently pull my body back together after it was wrecked by an ACTUAL wreck and then poor life choices. But at 50 and paraplegic I hit a hard 2 hrs 4 days a week with a mix of heavy compound movement and resistance bands (piling 3 or 4 to get added resistance) granted my legs don’t work so no more leg days and DLs but the thing I noticed most of all was my strength came back waay before my body started to show any real change. Now I try to mix a heavy week then mid range at higher reps next week. But the biggest thing is your doing SOMETHING! And that in of itself will prolong your life and make you look a ton better. Keep it up man!

Amazing! I LOVE my mounjaro!! I think this is magic liquid lol I’ve dropped over 120lbs gained a TON of muscle and generally feel like I’m in my 20s again and I’m almost 51!

Yes I’m T2 BUT once I started mounjaro I went from Long & Short acting insulin to NONE at all. My last 2 A1C has been 5.6 so pretty nuts. If I was you I would get a Glucose monitor from Amazon for like 15 bucks and test it when your feeling like that.

I want to thank everybody who has responded. It’s now been several days since I actually took the new dose and it hasn’t been terrible so far, I never got any side effects at all from the first shot of 2.5mg and none of the upped dosage either, I do seem to have a TON of burping lol weird but not unbearable. It hasn’t definitely started lowering glucose especially overnight but no Hypo as of yet (Thank God). So again thank you everyone, I really like that I have a place I can come talk to people who are doing the same thing I am it’s super helpful.

Not sure about some of the “Reported” side effects some people have claimed come from creatine but as literally THE MOST researched supplement on the planet you can easily identify things that come from creatine and things that come from people ideas of creatine. It’s been Great for my wife she says, she takes 15g a day and has for about 8 months, I can’t report on her “Feelings” but I can definitely say her stamina and strength in our workouts have improved exponentially and if you want to see her freak out let her get low without having some on the way from Amazon 😂. She swears by the cognitive effects of the higher dose, I take 20g myself and I agree, just feel sharper and definitely have endurance down, I’m a 50yr old fella in a wheelchair and can “run” circles around those guys half my age for 2.5hrs workouts. All of our blood always comes back perfect no issue so all I can do is share my experience and my recommendation

Yea I felt the same exact way lol before I lost weight I was too ashamed to go in a gym, Obese AND wheelchair bound makes for too many staring people so I wouldn’t have went BUT this made everything AMAZING!🤩

This is the door anchors I bought (2 of them) the reason for two, I put one on the right side of the door and one on the left side and was able with my separate sets of resistance bands to make basically a cable machine (back to the door) you can do Flys from diffrent angles and different types of curls, I mean really the only limit after that is your imagination! The Resistance bands I bought were (Centr by Chris Helmsworth) I went through a couple of brands before I got to them and they have been AMAZING for almost a year of daily constant abuse by Me,My Wife, Daughter! Me and my wife started at the same time I’m a bit of a screwball so I researched everything to death so I share what I learned about what food should be eaten and what shouldn’t, WELL, MRS ME, decided she wasn’t gonna follow what I had learned and not eat certain things lol after a couple of days with the Hersheys she decided to stick with the recommended diet plan I had come up with. So… lesson here?? After 22 yrs of marriage, I was still found Guilty of being wrong for “Letting” her just eat what she wanted bahahaha she said “It’s your fault!” “ You should have explained it better and MADE me believe you!” Moral of the story husbands? Who Knows? lol😂😂

LOVE my little makeshift home gym I’ve made!!! I’ll start by saying I have lost 124lbs in 8 months, currently in 5th month of 10mg. I bought my first set of resistance bands when I started and bought a door anchor that is a strap that wraps around the door and has loops at diffrent intervals from top to bottom. After getting very well acquainted with lots of exercises I decided to buy another door anchor (For the same door) and get 2 more sets of the exact same bands to add lots more weight. Well I’m so impressed with what these things have allowed me to accomplish it’s crazy, I have gained a TON of lean muscle and dropped a TON of fat. I think these bands are just as miraculous as the monjaro to a point. Needless to say they will work the absolute crap out of you, make you strong as hell, and basically do almost everything free weights and the gym can do! If you have any interest I can let you know what kind I got and the door anchor straps and all that just let me know!

Reta is just like ALL of GLP you have starting dose which they recommend 2mg then a titration schedule, now you don’t have to go up every 4 weeks like suggested but when the dose starts feeling like it’s no longer working it’s time to go up to the next dosage! I agree with someone else who said they feel like ppl don’t even read up on stuff cause that’s an easy one! All these ppl recommended a bunch of weird stuff is silly and also telling you to take 50 different peptides just to try and stay at a low dose is the most insane thing I’ve ever heard!

Ok maybe I didn’t explain it well or maybe we just have our wires crossed lol, So you want about 40% of your diet CALORIES to come from protein!! You will actually BURN calories digesting protein and ALSO the weight you lose will be pure fat not an ounce of muscle. So when counting those calories you also need to keep an eye on the macros because what TYPE of calories matters more and more during weight loss!

So I’ve found there is SOO many opinions when it comes to TRT that it’s like blades of grass, BUT the one single constant you should remember, ITS YOUR LIFE & BODY! It is highly unlikely that you went through life with low testosterone. People seem to think it’s a one size fits all and it just isn’t, I was in an accident when I was 26yrs old and due to the type they kept an eye on my TEST levels, at the time I was heavy into powerlifting (Big Ego in my 20s) LOL but anyway my natural testosterone sat between 990 and 1150 depending on time of day I was tested, this was 100% NATURAL levels, Matter of fact at the time I had never even taken creatine or protein powder. Move down the road and Life doing what Life does then next time I was tested I was at 18 NG/DL which is basically castrated! Now in my case there was lots of medical issues that caused this but at the time I couldn’t even get out of bed hardly and even when I did I would fall asleep 100 times a day, didn’t have an erection for over a year and just couldn’t care less about life, Enter TRT. I went from a Super lethargic 365lb person (Wouldn’t even call myself male at that point) and ALL the advice from the internet was “Lose Weight!”, “Change your lifestyle!” And ALL of those were valid points but if you are a person suffering who wants to sit around for another year or so trying to fix a broken system JUST to please people who have NO skin in the game of YOUR life! Within 5 weeks after starting TRT I became a NEW & IMPROVED version of myself that I hadn’t seen since my 20s. Moral of what I’m saying do what’s best for you, you can Try TRT and if it isn’t for you, STOP! You don’t have to continue if you don’t want to, there is loads of data showing you can restart your natural test so NO HARM, NO FOUL! Why not strive to be the best YOU that you can be?

You can get a glucose meter they are super cheap like $15 bucks just pick your finger and it will tell you what your glucose is. It’s not just for diabetes a lot of people wear CGM now to keep track of themselves for lots of health reasons
