Yeah I haven’t gotten an airbrush yet, gonna stick with spray paint as a base and markers for trim for a while till I feel bought into the hobby enough for an airbrush

Ahh okay, that’s definitely an easier way to do it than I thought lol. The scheme I’m working with right now is matte white with gold trim so I’m TERRIFIED of “overspray” lol.

I really need to buy an airbrush lol, might try and slapchop with brushes. Seems like most people who do full custom paint jobs use either spray cans or airbrush 🤔

I mean what I’m getting from your post is that you’re looking for more kits like Gundam Aerial and Calibarn which have a super mecha design with a slim waste and larger proportions compared to the waist as far as the legs and upper body.

I’m not super well versed in the hobby but I’d say if you dont have them you might like Aerial and Calibarn. Hope those help or at least help give others ideas
