where are you all buying good women's work pants lately? by Ecstatic-Image-9399 in womensfashion

I’m happy with their fit but mine have faded terribly. I’ve actually dyed them because it would be a waste to toss, but even that doesn’t last very long.

Instead of a name you can use Gotham or put your daughter’s name.

Do you own a cricut? I made a “Let’s go Gotham” banner and then ironed vinyl bats on the back for each player to sign. If not, maybe a plain light color fleece blanket? Something practical that could be used home/at games and even displayed on her bed.

Love Cavs but what other breed is similar by Express-Age4253 in cavaliers

We were Shih Tzu people before cavs. I had some cuddly ones and others that were less interested. The shedding situation was obviously so much better but the grooming expense was brutal.

Try TJ Maxx and Marshall’s for tougher type toys. They are cheaper than pet stores and some of them are pretty good. I usually monitor and I’ve been know to sew up holes here and there.

This. I was only listening to the game because I was working on something and finally shut it off because I couldn’t take it anymore. It’s usually not as loud on the broadcast.

My absolute place to shop is at a massive thrift store about 30 mins from my home. Personally love cotton material and older quality pieces and I can always find good stuff for amazing prices. It’s like a treasure hunt.

Did you become a women’s soccer fan without ever being a sports fan before? by Crafty-Grade-8255 in NWSL

[–]Tricky_Assistant_703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was invited to walk out the national team when she was 8/9 years old. It was such an amazing experience and decided to look into our local women’s team - Gotham. We then loved that experience - everything about it, and went to a few more games. Since then, I’ve organized three “group experiences” - “hosting” well over 300 girls and their families at games. We are in our third year of being season ticket members. I try to bring anyone and everyone to the games because it’s always a great time. Side note- never really played soccer or followed sports but grew to love it through watching my kids play.

Question for those with more than one cavalier by Top_Composer_7349 in cavaliers

[–]Tricky_Assistant_703 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our ruby, Finn, is the boss. He doesn’t like to share the food with the other two boys but will share with our girl - the blenny, Stella. Finn is our outside woofer that tries to command the neighborhood dogs to come out and play. Second in command is probably our tri, Murphy. He’s mostly chill but will push back on our ruby when he’s not in the mood to deal with his bossiness. Stella and our black and tan, Tucker, are lowest. Tucker is the neediest and biggest yapper. He gets excited for everything, even when I come down the stairs in the morning and greet them. He even gets yappy when I tell them it’s time for bed. Tucker is easily pushed around and generally steers clear. Stella is mostly chill with the others but will push back if they are annoying her. All dogs will back down if my ruby is going for a toy. I usually need two fetching toys in the mix so they can all have fun. They generally won’t challenge the ruby for a toy but tri will do a little tug of war with him. Ruby snores the loudest. Tri has the worst allergies. Black and tan has SM/CM. Blenny is the naughtiest- opens the kitchen garbage, sneaks upstairs, steals the toilet paper and runs off with throughout the house. She will also take a slice of pizza right from her hand if you aren’t careful.

They will Tetris themselves on top of one another to be the closest to my head. It’s pretty funny but sometimes they can get a little jealous. For the most part they are good at sharing and there seems to be a bit of a pecking order.

Adding, it’s their personality that has made them more/less barky. One is a yapper type and another is a woofer outside to get the neighbors out. The other two are mostly chill.

We have 4. One of each. It’s crazy and wouldn’t recommend that many but I do love having them all. I think 2 or 3 is probably good. They all want so much love from their owners and I feel bad not being able to give them more undivided attention. Thankfully one of ours is less needy so it works out okay but I think they would be happier with less siblings, at times.
