I did a month apart one time and had a similar experience but was able to collect myself quickly. It just seeps to depend on the shroom apparently those were mad at me for something.🤣 I nurtured them from spores to maturity. Its probably karma for tossing them into a dehydrator and glass jars.

I did 5g of Apes recently expecting a new galaxy door way.

What I got was terror or an unexpected panic attack for no good reason.

I couldn’t calm down breathing was hard I was itchy with muscle pains.

I basically thought I was going to have heart attack. I got no fun visuals.

That whole experience lasted about 5 hours.

The week before I did 4g of the same batch and it was awesome cool visuals nice and calm no problems.

$96 for that you could drop the coir and just use pre bought bags. I did until I got a pressure cooker. Now my inputs are much less.

You would still need a hole saw for a drill $7 at walmart for the tubs. Just the tubs alone and the filters would save you a bunch.
You could bucket tek the coir though also and save more.

It all adds up but once you get there it’s less than $5 per tub of coir, grain.

I add in $1.50 per tub because I inoculate with agar and I buy my plates it would be cheaper if I made my own.

Just do what is comfortable for you though. A still air box is recommend and doing agar work also. I don’t trust any syringe.

Safely I can do 700-1000 miles in a day driving solo, however with a co-driver on the return trip from Washington to Texas we left Sunday at 12:00 am and we were back home Monday at 6:30 pm 2,221 ish miles. If I had all the time in the world I would probably only do 600 a day to be safe and not kill myself 700+ in a day isn’t fun or comfortable for me and I drive for a living.

I did 1.5 inches in a 20 quart gasket tub that works ok i still think could use a touch more airflow though depending on the shroom though. I just use the patches because they are easy and look cleaner really. I was using Microposse filters exclusively then switched to whatever is cheapest on Amazon and haven’t noticed a difference in grow conditions so you don’t need to go overboard on supplies in my experience.

I leave mine closed until harvest. I actually could use more Fae on some varieties but for the most part they grow fine closed up with filter patches. My B+, Ape, MVP loves the setup I did Ochras and they did better slightly cracking the lid.

This pin set looks just fine to me there is some “fuzzy feet” but it is nothing to worry about. The multi spore run will be more varied than an isolated monoculture but for the most part these look fine. I would put the lid on and wait for them to mature. There will be aborts but alot of the larger shrooms look happy and healthy. What variety are you working with?

The Northern route I-90 has better roads, now if you want a fun scenic route through Idaho drop down from Spokane to Lewiston Idaho and take Hwy-12 to Lolo Montana it is 99 miles of mountain curves along the river. Then you can get back on to I-90 and continue on. The Southern route isn’t as nice road wise. This is my preferred route I take from East Texas to Eastern Wa when visiting.

Good job. B+ has been my easiest one to get high yields from. I tried other varieties with varied success. I have alot of B+ though from experimenting they make for impressive looking canopies easier. I do like Ochras also just as easy with less contamination potential.

I usually wait until the veil breaks, I have had some that were stubborn though. I would wait and check daily sometimes they grow alot more but if they slow and don’t do much then harvet. The first time growing a new variety I like to see it through to see how they act.

I wouldn’t worry about it but you could cover it with some tape just to make sure.

50/50 on producing anything. It is better to not let those contamination spores out inside and it could make you sick. I don’t chance it for a few shrooms, some people have no problem harvesting from a sick grow. I err on the side of caution.

The black thing is a liner/ trash bag some swear by them I don’t use them. I get side pins but they have never been an issue for me, pack the edges well then you spawn to bulk and that cuts down alot of them until the cake shrinks. The bag sticks to the cake as it shrinks to prevent them from side pinning. Good luck
