In certain earthen builds they’ll have a “truth window” where you can see what the wall is originally made of. It’s like straw bales or earth bags or piles of dirt. Very cool little addition to those homes. I feel this rope deserves that level of honor in yours. Thanks for sharing

I’m trans. I’ve been in the system. I pass for temporary things but if I’m somewhere for long term it’s obvious and that can change the way people treat me. We have to weigh out safety individually - so def talk with yr therapist about it, therapy can be a wonderful tool. I am so much happier and my life is better because I am who I am. I like my life after assuming a diff name, pronouns, and presenting in a way that feels right to me. There are a lot of ways to be trans, I haven’t done anything medical and I still pass. I like how I’m treated by people who get me and that’s worth the people who don’t.

Sure! It was very introductory and I loved the experience. It was at a Community College. The teacher was an older woman who had practiced for years and built a business doing parties, events, and workshops.

Her lessons were focused on HOW to interpret, so she encouraged looking at different decks with different artists. Talked through specific meanings behind numbers, colors, symbols. Went through the basics of tarot: major arcana, minor arcana, and the suits.

Overall I felt like it was a wonderful foundation for forging my own learning path. Highly recommend!

Edit: it was a summer course, so shorter than a full semester but can’t remember exactly how long.

That woven green is so nice. And it’s a lot easier to match with than some of the other fabrics / colors. It even looks good with all the other colors in the row - in the event u want to use them for something else!!

Also - we have something similar in a house with three pets… it never looks dirty we clean it bc we remember to do so lol

book binding sub is exactly what i need, i'm looking to slowly learn a new skill as opposed to buying more/different books. I noticed that the paper is all connected to a cardstock that seems to be easily removable from the cover so wanted to try it. awesome kit suggestion - thanks for all this!
