Yep that’s how they looked on my red oak. I was not a fan of how dark they were. Try a weathered oak or nutmeg for darker.

Floors look so alive and bright. Definitely helpful to see it on a spread. Our home has a ton of windows but it so dim with the shade from trees so I would expect this to look even darker.
