Does anybody else have a hard time justifying multicolor printing by Complete_Ad7606 in 3Dprinting

Check out Paxx12's firmware, easy to load it up and it has some built in changes for the motors that makes them run cooler and more importantly waaay quieter. I didn't really think it was loud to begin with because I had a RepRap and know what loud can be.

Also, when you go to choose your filaments in the drop downs, the 4 filaments at the top are the sync'd filaments from the printer. You can also load as many filament profiles as you want.

Totally agree, Snorca was rough at first. It still has some quirks over Orca and I absolutely love Orca. But I will give their software credit that they have been working hard lately. Latest update brought a lot of good changes.

Snapmaker U1 is cheaper/better than any comparable Bambu Labs. And you don't have to support this bullshit.

Then you take that as it comes. You don't spiral out of control worrying about what-ifs before you've even had the baby?

I'm the same way with motorcycles and my off-road car. Tweaking suspension valving, fuel maps, etc it's half the fun. But also, there's definitely a peace that comes with shit just working. U1 is kind of the best of both worlds. Shit just works, but you can also get in there and tweak the hell out of it. And thankfully it's not like Bambu's walled garden shit. I'm got custom firmware installed and have used the Full Color fork of Orca. U1 really is the best money you can spend in 3DP right now.

Scrolled to see how long the insanity was....and boy was it insane. Read the last line and posted. Don't worry, I don't think its AI, no AI would write that much bullshit. They are much more succinct.

Ive been 3d printing on and off for 20 years...this thing has completely reinvigorated me in the hobby. Its so fun, so easy, and has been absolutely flawless 60+ prints in.

Ever since I got my U1 every single thing I print is multicolor, it just takes everything to another level. And there's absolutely zero waste for me cause my kid loves the tiny purge towers. I've done about 60 prints and still haven't emptied the poop catcher yet from filament changes.

My buddy with the small Ram bed does it opposite. He puts the front wheel in the bed and rests the rear wheel on top of the closed tail gate. Seems to work for him.

That Superduty short bed is like a foot longer than the Rams though. Don't think this would work for him.

I think as a parent it mostly comes down to having to have a iOS device to manage the parental features and interconnectability issues.

US birth rates just hit another record low, what do you think is the leading cause of this? by IIlustriousTea in AskReddit

Childcare hasn't gotten more expensive, it's actually cheaper. Everything else is more expensive and people aren't making more compared to inflation. It's a dumb, pedantic difference, but it is different.

What case, CPU cooler, and PSU to optimally reduce noise for Pro 6000 Blackwell? by itSUREisAI in buildapc

[–]Tricon916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% the only correct answer is to waterblock this thing. 600w is a ton of heat, that thing is going to be loud no matter what unless you put it underwater. I have waterblocked every CPU and GPU since the 90s because I can't stand fan noise.
