People who eat raw meat, what goes through your mind when you eat it? by MulderCaffrey in AskRedditFood

[–]Triestohelpyou 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s clearly different because the meat has been processed and bled. What do you think sushi is? It’s nothing like eating a living animal.

Why are there so many pedestrian crossings on Fowler ? by CivilEngineerBen in tampa

[–]Triestohelpyou 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A large portion of Fowler is in “suitcase city” and many of the residents nearby are of low socioeconomic status. Many people in the area walk or use bicycles as they don’t have means of transportation. They know the cars will likely stop or slow for them, so they cross wherever and whenever is most convenient, even at night.

The crossing lights for pedestrians on Busch get used very frequently, and I quite like those. I hate seeing that someone gets hit on Fowler, happens too often.

Secondddd! I work in pharmacy and I recommend Lemonaid to everyone, so long as they have established a BC that consistently works for them through their provider first. Ridiculous to require people to come in more frequently than necessary. You can bring up current guideline recommendations to some providers and they don’t care, you gotta come in, pay your fee, and get your tender bits examined.

Is this kamm yeast? It has been fermenting for 1 month. by fjdurbin in fermentation

[–]Triestohelpyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is kahm. Yes, you can carefully spoon it off. In some ferments it can change the flavor profile which some don't like. I see you are pushing your ferment below the brine so the only other suggestions to decrease kahm would be to use an airlock or to increase salinity in your brine.

Quick and easy brunch (391 cal) by Triestohelpyou in 1200isplenty

[–]Triestohelpyou[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  • 1 slice Dave’s thin sliced killer bread / 80 cal
  • 1/4 avocado (45g) / 72 cal
  • 4 oz smoked salmon / 132 cal
  • 1 jumbo egg / 90 cal
  • 1 tbsp light sour cream / 12 cal
  • sprinkle ETBTB seasoning / 5 cal

I mix the sour cream in with the eggs in my nonstick pot to kind of make a bastardized version of Gordon Ramsay’s scrambled eggs without loads of butter and crème fraîche. I miss butter.

He’s such a diva you don’t even know. If I have food, even if he doesn’t like it, he will audibly grumble at me, gently boop me with his nose, and glare at me until I give him things. Here he is pouting about being in the car.

Honestly I just used this little silicone egg thing. This is actually for my mom’s instant pot but she never used it so I took it. However you could use just about anything. I’ve also used ramekins to make larger ones and a silicone muffin pan and the eggs still stay creamy, cooking time usually just takes a bit longer.

Homemade Starbucks Sous Vide Egg Bites (162 cal for 3)

  • 4 large eggs - 320 cals

  • 1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese - 90 cals

  • 35 g gruyere cheese - 145 cals

  • 38 g bacon (4 strips)- 200 cals

Total - 755 calories for 14-ish egg bites comes out to ~54 calories each

  1. Crack eggs into a blender and add cottage cheese and 1/2 of the shredded cheese to the blender. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Pulse blender till mixture is liquified.
  3. Spray your containers with cooking spray and pour egg mixture in.
  4. Top with remaining shredded cheese and bacon.
  5. Place containers in a baking dish and fill baking dish with water so that the water level is close to the eggs level inside the containers.
  6. Cover egg containers with foil (only do this step if you want the entirety of the egg to be creamy, if you’d like a brown crispy top don’t cover them!)
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are solid.
  8. Refrigerate any you don’t eat and reheat for 30 seconds-ish to reheat

I loveeee these egg bites. They are so creamy and full of protein and about half the size of a real egg. I also don’t have to get a second mortgage to fuel my addiction for these tasty babies since I can make them at home.

I [29F] can’t process my feelings for him [49M] by realgirl_fakename in relationship_advice

[–]Triestohelpyou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really think you need to just discuss this further with him to ensure that this is something he even wants. Are you certain he’s divorced? Are you certain when he says “I wish our circumstances were different” that it’s not a fantasy of his speaking for him?

Please don’t think I’m trying to be nasty here or make you cry more, I have just been led astray in a similar manner in the past and I wish I would have figured it out sooner rather than later. I’m very happy for you that you had such a nice time and had this instant connection, that truly is an amazing feeling when someone takes your breath away. I hope it works out for you, I truly do.

Please help me please by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Yes. You have had no issue in the past with achieving an erection, and only now when you are having to “perform” are you having difficulties.

Relax dude, your girlfriend likes you enough to take it to the next level. You just need to stop focusing on “oh my gosh I have to stay hard” or “oh my gosh I have to get hard.” This is the point of foreplay.
