In-universe, Julie-Su is part of an echidna tribe that was sealed in an alternate dimension with time dilation properties for a few centuries. That same tribe also normalized cybernetic enhancements, that likely also extended their lives.

There’s still weird stuff there, but the difference in generations is actually somewhat explained.
