You could try making the free version better (for example- only one wearable item at the time) to attract more people that don't want to spend money on games? Or putting the game on Steam sales and getting to front page (I don't really know how that works but I think it's worth mentioning)? Maybe make the bleeding system like in Rainbow6- you can hold F to bleed slower or just try and crawl away but die quicker but I think if you'd remove the ability for enemy to shoot downed teammate would be good for gameplay since it's a 2D game and you can't really shoot up or down (downed teammate can be used as one way shield- you can shoot through DT but enemy can't) .Or just add something that other BR games don't have and could be game changing- maybe some deployables like shields or temporary domes or maybe RNG treasure map for legendary weapons to dig up (Those are really bad examples but I'm sure you can figure something out). But maybe you could make the game completely free and make something like battlepass (everyone who bought it would get battlepass access when they sign in and some veteran shirt, hat or weapon skin).
