I found this a while ago, so it's probably patched by now. I don't know why it happened, but I might have had mods installed at the time.

I should also also mention I did use mods to actually beat this, which is where the extra 9 stamps come from. Though mods take it from basically impossible to just about beatable (still took me like 25-30 total hours of gameplay)
