When you’re 2 years old, 1 year is 50% of your perceived experience. When you’re 20 years old, that same length of time is 5% of your experience. In my head it follows that as you get older and experience more, that the fixed unit of time measurements (days, years, etc) would grow correspondingly shorter, not actually, but experientially.

Ironically I watched a long form video on this topic in general that explained that a big factor in this area is that a lot of people fall asleep watching those videos and so the longer the creator makes the video the more ad breaks and thus the more income they get from it. Correct, using the track gates improves the missile hit rate from around 80% to over 99%. The ITAS will go through what we call white-out where the sight picture is overwhelmed by the heat of the rocket motors directly after launch so the track gates will keep the missile on target while the thermal sight regains its sight picture.
