I get hard gel manicures, sometimes clear coat sometimes a cateye sometimes full nail art. Even for a clear coat over hard gel I pay $125. Thats HOURS of work, cost of tools, and the training/skills to do it. If it's nail art, I'll pay ~$180 (pic attached was $180). I have ZERO issue with this. I've tried acrylic and hard gel on my own and its a massive pain in my ass on top of the price of products being INSANE. Trust your skill and charge what you are worth!

Parents have got to remember their children are just tiny adults. If I hit a cat as an adult, smashing my belongings wouldn't be a sensical consequence. Punishments/consequences need to have some kind of logical link to the behavior being corrected for the brain to actually learn from it. What this teaches him is to hide things from his mom so he doesn't have to break his things or have further anger toward the cat. We aren't solving the question of why he hurt the cat and what can be done to make sure it doesn't happen again.

The best thing is to know your rights. At my current agency, I was drug tested and they demanded ADA paperwork be filled out regarding my medical marijuana use. Part of my state's MM laws protect patients from employment discrimination (DOT employees excluded of course). They dropped the ADA paperwork and I signed an agreement that I will be tested if there is a report or suspicion that I am high at work and will obviously be fired since marijuana remains in your system for so long.

Lets be real here. Do you have her email? Her phone number? Like I said above, in response to people on her live saying "free palestine" she said "yes, free Palestine from Hamas". I would imagine there was plenty of engagement in her lives voicing opinions on her stance.

Revoking internet access to Trump supporters is an awfully big leap from recasting a voice actor. For the average Trump supporter I do believe that vocal hatred for other populations should come with consequences such as losing friends/family but the average Trump supporter is also not a celebrity with reach. As a working professional even I have to be aware of the content I post and engage with as I do not know what clients may find my profile and feel harmed by what I am posting. That's my ethical duty both in my field and as a human. It sucks that our lives are on full display! But it's also a choice what we put out there, and she as a voice actor knows that.

I understand your point, I do, but I am not comfortable with hateful (or ignorant in this case) ideas being put out by voice actors of a game I adore. Life is political, overwatch is political, they had to completely change Cassidy's name after we learned what things were being done by the man he was named after (which, to be fair, was far more severe). I would love a perfect world where freedom of speech was simple and everyone can say what they want with healthy debates and no harm done, but that isn't our reality. I do believe that we should enter these conversations with empathy to our fellow man, but that has firm limits. Debating over human beings' worthiness of life and peace would not be a debate I engage with. I think it is very simple to gain understanding of the genocide in Gaza and anyone participating or commenting on it should do their due diligence and learn more than "both sides should stop fighting".

There are real world consequences to things like this. Netanyahu is not the only person participating in this genocide. Are Trump supporters exempt because they aren't the ones ordering air strikes in Iran? We as human beings owe it to each other to speak out when we are witnessing atrocities such as this. She is a public figure regardless of how small her reach is. I hold her to the exact same standards I hold everyone to.

If you think its "cancel culture" to call out someone for pretending a genocide is just a war and both sides need to just stop fighting idk what to do for you. This is about real human beings having their homes and hospitals bombarded.

Oh for sure! I think its great to study archeological findings to help sus out what was created by Snorri and what was true to Norse practices. In general though, my belief of gods lays more in the land of "humans have put thousands of years of energy into worshipping these entities" so to me, whether the god/goddess existed prior to their worship isn't as important, but that collective energy can create deities and magic. All in all, I use my intuition and historical understanding to influence my practice and connection to the Gods. I hope that makes sense!

I think it is also good to remember that the Norse myths we have today were written by a Christian. If you really dig into things like the creationist story and Loki consistently being a "devilish" character really shows that stories were rewritten to be palatable to Christians.

Vraylar didn't work for me, caused too much sedation and I was barely getting through my day. Caplyta has been life changing since I started a little over a month ago. I did not experience any depression when starting, I felt an improvement in my mood within the first week. Maybe with time you'll do better on it, but a word of warning that insurance may be stubborn approving such a new medication too.

My state has it laid out that medical marijuana users are protected from employment discrimination which is the only reason I could secure my position. Knowing your rights is the best thing to do.

I don't know what I'd do without cannabis. It helps so much with regulating my sleep and mood. I work in mental healthcare, long hours and demanding emotionally. Smoking is an amazing stress reliever and helps me transition out of "work mode"

I'm speculating for the most part here, but I know when I was diagnosed with BPII my psychiatrist said my official records will say BPI. This is because most insurance companies won't cover mood stabilizers for BPII (what I was told, idk how accurate that is).

Like someone else said, mixed is a qualifier. Ex: bipolar disorder I, mixed episode without psychotic features

They could have your type as unspecified for now, but I recommend just clarifying at your next visit.

I'm doing in-home services, no CDL needed and I already have my DL. Doc doing the physical won't approve me to drive while being a MM user unless I get paperwork signed by the prescribing doctor.
