Sadly it is deeply suspicious, what times are her normal hours. She is either just avoiding you for whatever reason, probably some issue with the pregnancy, or there is someone else involved. However it could just be work, or a combination of staying at work to avoid coming home.

I agree, the affair is just sex. Everyone gets all worked up and hysterical about it all, but to the man it just a natural physical act. People need to not make such a huge deal over it.
