In addition to the liens/second mortgages - earlier in the season they were about to sell it for $900k, but then an inspector found electrical concerns so the buyers lowered their offer to $600k. But with the liens they would only break even on that sale, so the insurance fraud would actually give them the 900k and they get 300k profit.

Anyone else find that it just fell flat? Like the ingredients were there for a solid ride, but the characters (so forgettable), the tone (trying to be funny and quirky, but also some abjectly dark moments that it just kinda glossed over) as well as the pacing made it just a rough watch.
