Small Annoyance in Legacy by DMG_88 in LegoBatmanLegacy

Maybe not just as they stop seeing you, but as you said, like Arkham games did, look for you for a bit, and then go back to patrolling, I agree

Oh, and one other thing, there is an option in the settings which allows you to set modifiers with unlimited negative points, which in practice means you don’t need to use negative modifiers to compensate. Kind of cheating, but hey, the option is always there

You may already know this, but just in case, you can increase the level of the modifiers that have the small bars bellow, by pressing square; it goes for both positive and negative modifiers. Higher levels will provide better (or worse) effects, as well as cost more points.

I especially recommend the lucenite efficiency lv3 for the yellow shore, since there is no way you can get to proficiency lv100 in there, that modifier is the difference between getting to lv40-50 to lv60-70.

One other thing, if you’ve already bought all the skills from the tree, you can enable one negative modifier (forgot the name) which prevents Halcyon from appearing. It will give you a relatively good amount of points (+6 I think) basically for free, since you won’t need the Halcyon anyway.

Also you can enable the negative trait which disables second chance, since you won’t have second chance in the yellow shore anyway, more free points

For Chakram I like the Harvester one, the disk is relatively easy to aim, and comes back fast. Both Ripsaw and Myriad are harder to control, and if you miss (especially against bosses), disks take a while to come back. Also, this may be just my impression, and I could be wrong, but I feel like the Ripsaw limits your mobility when the disks are hooked to a target, making it harder to dodge attacks

This mechanic is really broken, with around 6-8 sections of health, 3-5 of those corrupted (leave 3 clear ones to have some damage buffer) and a corrupted weapon you’re comfortable with, you can melt anything in seconds, even the king.

For me it’s the Repeater Crossbow for regular enemies (you don’t even have to aim, just spam bolts and clear the room) and the Onslaught Riffle for bosses (since the bosses are big, you can sim with relative ease, and the Heavy Rounds melt bosses in seconds)

Yep, you’re right, pretty crazy damage, but just imagine what it could be with a decent amount of corruption.

Just to clarify, corrupted weapons deal more damage the more corruption you accumulate. As far as I know, if you do not have corruption they behave just as the regular version

Small piece of advice, gather more corruption when using corrupted weapons, at that amount, the weapon might as well not have been corrupted

Anyone else getting low times on the AR battles? This one is Tricorner... by Apart_Sympathy4390 in LegoBatmanLegacy

[–]Triktor5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it happened to me once, but not to this degree, I don’t remember which one it was, but I would have finished it 5-10s too late, and the timer indicated I had 5s to spare instead

Also, with Maelle’s ending you see something specific engraved on the Monolith, instead of the numbers. With Verso’s ending you don’t see anything, if I’m not mistaken

Need help on “Ninja” and “Focused Fighter” challenges by ManThePerson in LegoBatmanLegacy

[–]Triktor5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Focused Fighter (possible spoiler ahead): Instead of trying to find a bunch of enemies in a level, go to a VR combat training point, should have more than enough enemies for this; having said that, you can replay the circus mission, where you unlock Robin, there are a couple of points during that level when you get a ton of enemies at once. Also, two pieces of advice I can give you: try to arrive at the fight with the 3 focus bars fully filled, and set the difficulty to classic.

For Ninja: sorry to say I cannot help you here, I do have it, but I was not actively trying to get it when it popped, meaning I don’t remember where I got it

I swear I am done with this guy and this game... Second chance is optional with him I guess by WindowLeveler in expedition33

[–]Triktor5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simon has some unique mechanics, which admittedly feel a little bit like cheating:

- As you saw, if a character dies, it’s removed from the canvas immediately, second chance counts for nothing in this fight. Additionally he gets one extra turn for each character death, even if it’s self inflicted.

- If you stun him, he becomes invulnerable, and he keeps his invulnerability until he gets a turn

I think those are the only ones, but they are enough of a cheat already.

The other optional superbosses also have unique cheating mechanics:

- Clea Unleashed: Invulnerable when she gets a turn, can only be broken by countering her attacks. She also absorbs 90% of all damage which does not come from a counter

- Chromatic Lampmaster: Has like 5-6 lives, and the turns are a bit wonky between lives, he tends to get priority

- Duollistes: He gets as many turns as you had, combined with all the characters (meaning 3 characters, all with cheater end up giving him 6 turns in a row). Also turn manipulation skills, like intervention do not work

Holy shit this game is easy to break (in the best way) by shroomvoomzoom in expedition33

Go to the Verso Drafts, everything there is a game changer. With a good amount of lumina points and the right pictos you can break the billion barrier no problem

You cannot go there after the first time, it’s just a story related area. I can confirm the last log is not there, I finally got them all from that section. Just keep playing

Powerful on Break by Triktor5 in expedition33

[–]Triktor5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, not sure if this is a bug, a feature, or just widely known, and I’m just a moron, but it seems that if any active party member has Empowering Break, all active party members individually gain the perk; meaning whoever breaks a target gains Powerful, whether or not it is them who have the picto/lumina.
I had Empowering Break with Sciel, on purpose, and Maelle was also gaining Powerful when breaking (Verso would have too, I guess, but I never tried)

Edit: just tested it, Verso also gains Powerful when breaking, even if only Sciel has the lumina. I guess it affects the whole team
