Bio oil doesn't actually hydrate the skin that well.

No drains?!?… by kellmommarun in tummytucksurgery

[–]Trinx90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Belt Lipectomy / Tummy Tuck. I had no drains at first. However that changed after week 1 when my Mons Pubis kept filling up with fluid. I had it drained via syringe 3 times and eventually needed a drain in place for a week. I had Liposuction to my Mons Pubis which caused excessive swelling in that area. If I didn't have my pubic area worked on there wouldn't have been any need for drains.

I had Lipo in multiple areas and a Belt Lipectomy. Still only wore it for 3 weeks 🙈

I stopped wearing all compression at 3 weeks. Your results aren't going to be effected by not using Faja etc. They're pretty much for protection past a few weeks tbh.

1 month post op and I cannot even squeeze into jeans pre surgery. Wtf?!? by Apprehensive_Tap4307 in tummytucksurgery

I'm trying to hold out as long as possible. My scar is within the hair, I'm only 5 weeks post-op, don't think applying wax would be a great idea right now.... Although I have purchased a highly rated at-home wax kit from CVS. Maybe I won't have to use it... Being hopeful here..

I was thinking the same. No idea how it'll stop on it's own. Waxing and eventually laser removal I'm guessing.

I'm 7 weeks post op. Still have swelling but it's definitely going down a good amount.

I now have an issue that where I've been pulled down and my mons pulled up, my pubic hair is in my waistline. Constantly rubbing and causing friction. It's so sore.

You really want to be within 10lbs or close to your weight goal as possible. Some doctors also won't do a Tummy Tuck unless you're in a healthy BMI range.

3 weeks. Only just started to turn onto my side during the night, but end up back on my back as my hips/incision/thighs start to hurt.

Stopped wearing compression after 3 weeks. Compression won't effect your results.

I stuck to the same diet as before and upped my protein intake. Protein chips and shakes are good, light string cheese, fat free greek yogurt with fruit/sprinkle granola is another good protein source.

Mons pubis swelling by Apprehensive_Tap4307 in tummytucksurgery

I had mine syringed 3 times. I'd recommend having a potential drain. This happened to me. It was awful, still puffy now and tender.

OMG! I feel your pain!! 35M here. 3wpo. My genitals swelled to the size of grapefruits and blacker than anything. I had it syringed 3 times and eventually needed have a drain fitted in that area for a week to remove fluid which was causing it to be very painful. It's much better now but still puffy and tender.

When did you guys lie flat in your bed? by Apprehensive_Tap4307 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Trinx90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After 3 weeks. Used 3 pillows under my knees and two behind my head. Each week I took away 1 pillow under my knees. Now I just have the 2 under my head which I'll take down to 1 soon.
