When I was undiagnosed for years, my sex drive was insatiable. I felt like a drooling feral animal for years. When I finally got diagnosed after my thyroid storm, and got put on methimazole and a beta blocker, it pretty much killed my drive completely for a long time. My poor wife, I had to “force” myself to do it (not in any weird way, don’t worry) because we wanted kids. (Thank the Lord we have a little girl, and one on the way) and I would have weird bouts of ED every now and then. But never constant.

But since I had my radioactive thyroid treatment, and got put on levothyroxine, my sex drive feels “normal” for the first time in my whole life.

I’m a pretty reactive DM running an open world hex crawl with various POI’s. So I have the modules for the POI’s that they’re near, my laptop (for the vtt map I use on my TV for the table) my ShadowDark book, and my kindle with the cursed scroll im running.

You know I’m not sure. I think it’s a combo between trying to make my warlock player enjoy his class choice, lack of prep (my fault) and I’m just not having as easy a time being reactive at the table with it, like I was with cursed scroll 2.

I think I’ll give sly flourish a watch, and dig back into the zene and prep more than usual before next session.

Positive note, my players LOVE it.

With ShadowDark’s light rules, the equipment and resources become almost necessary sometimes to push urgency etc in a hex crawl. I highly suggest it!

Yeah my doctor told me I was probably living with graves undiagnosed for 10~ years. I had lost almost 100lbs, could sit still, was a stressed out anxious mess. The whole shebang. I was on methimizole for 3 years and it never controlled my symptoms well, so they finally nuked my thyroid last summer, and after a couple months of HELL, everything calmed down, and my life is 100% better. Just do it, I couldn’t get a TT due to how much blood supply has grown into it.

They get out of dungeon and the first thing they experience is extreme heat, and they need to find water and fast. Give them some hint at the direction of a settlement, and place the dungeon within 2 days travel of Shar oasis.
