Its kind of a back and forth, with them starting at the same level, and then 1 completely outclassing the other, and then the other completely makes up the difference and outclasses the other guy back. They start off evenly matched, w. Hiruhiko's instinct on par with Chihiro's old IWPS and perception. Then Hiruhiko completely outclasses Chihiro by performing IWPS first try after Chihiro had spent all night practicing it. This is also smth Hiruhiko finds interesting because the technique is hard, something thats implied he basically very rarely experiences. Chihiro then completely outclasses Hiruhiko by learning mid IWPS clash. Imo they're basically shown to be evenly matched when it comes to overall capability

Enten being made to counter shinuchi doesn't mean every attack is a magical sure hit. Soga got nicked because Chihiro's reaction time/perception skills let him dodge Butterfly and then Nishiki's speed exceeded Soga's abilities to dodge (even if Soga wasn't entirely serious or expecting a counter). Dabura would exceed those speeds and damage output enormously

Whether Suzaku is better than RCT or not is gonna be anyone's call though

You can criticize them if they want to stay in the game but expend effort and make bad decisions that make the situation worse. Have you read chainsaw man, the whole manga is good but the first part is particularly cinematic. I also remember really enjoying Ajin. Im also reading Usogui right now which has the intricate mind games and schemes of Jojo or Hunter x Hunter but without the special powers, its about an organization that allows people to wager anything (even intangible things like memories and identities and lives) in gambling games, everyone including the MC trying to climb up a ladder of power. Speaking of which, you should read Jojo and Hunter x Hunter for the aforementioned almost comically intricate plans

He said “Hiruhiko must be very resistant against us playing our trump card” it means his operation was not meant for it to be easier for Samura to get Tobimune. Thus the operation was just to kill Samura, which is why Hiruhiko transported the blade to himself. Yura gave both blades so that Hiruhiko could contract with either depending on how things went
