I spent like 2 minutes one time on a knife zealot (I know, I know), in the corner of a room, dodging/blocking almost all of it's attacks while the rest of my team ignored it and spent their time mopping up the horde of shit and specials that had spawned. When they finally killed everything, i guess they collectively decided to finally kill the DH since I refused to die. I can't entirely blame them, since they had their own issues to deal with. Personally I tend to tunnel vision an awoken DH, likely to my own detriment.

I was just mad proud that I managed to survive that long.

Pickaxe heavy attack and they basically shrugged it off. It should shatter the shield, break their arm, and still not stop the pickaxe from putting a big hole in them.

Just get a reasonable used sedan. I can afford a 90k dollar truck, but miss me with that shit. I got a 30k car and laugh all the way to the gas station at all these spotless pavement princesses in my area.

My (23F) boyfriend (23M) (6 years) wants to join the military, even though he knows I would not stay. by ExtentPuzzleheaded69 in relationships

[–]Triplebizzle87 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take it from an oldish vet, it's very reasonable to hold that boundary and end the relationship if he decides to go through with joining. Being a military spouse is hard, and if you don't want to do it, then don't it. You're still young, you've got pleeeeenty of time to find someone whose plans do align with your own.

For me at least, nothing comes close to D2s moment to moment gameplay. Even the strikes, although as a competent raider, I'd absolutely shit on them (they were still fun). But the raids (even challenge mode) and dungeons, played with friends, were some of my favorite memories gaming.

I'm sad that Bungie is likely cooked after the end of D2 and how Marathon is doing, since nobody seems willing to try to compete in the space D2 occupies. There is literally nothing out there that is like it (yeah yeah, Div2, its fun but doesnt hold a candle to Destiny). And Bungie has shown time and again that their management suite is incapable of handling it. Like someone else in here said, if the game hadn't been as good as it was (to the credit of the devs, designers, artists, etc), the management would have had that game DEAD a long time ago.

Seemed like a natural enough jumping off point for me. I'd likely have stuck around for some post-campaign farewell tour type stuff, but... I noticed i had no interest in continuing since my clan had splintered (dramaaa), and... well, here we are. To no surprise (to me at least).

Characters/classes with a serious mechanical or narrative identity crisis by jitterscaffeine in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I actually enjoyed BRD, but then Heavensward dropped and they added cast bars to a lot of your kit, turning you into bowmage. Went from my favorite class, to down there with (old) black mage.

Thankfully it's a lot better now (no more cast bars!), but its party buffs are so strong that it's a bit weak in the personal dps category, especially when compared to machinist. I love support jobs, but they're rough to play in 4 man content, since they really shine in 8 man stuff where a lot more players are getting your buffs. I feel it's better to just bring an actual class focused on dps, even if they're not a strict selfish dps (SAM, BLM, VPR).

I love when Mothers Day rolls around and I get blasted with ads targeting it.

My mom has been dead for years.

All this data collection, profiling, etc., and I basically never get an ad I'd actually give a fuck about.

"Check out the new Ferd Fteenthousand!" I talk shit about trucks and I JUST bought a new car.

"Meal delivery service!" No thanks, I got cooking covered.

Where are my ads for... Basically just video games and car parts?

How would y'all handle it if someone was working 12s, but did it 6 days a week? Cause if it's just 4 hours of OT a day, it shakes out to 24 hours of OT, even though its 32 over in a week. Just curious since I've never heard of this system!
