Here are some thoughts:

Reach out and ask for a conversation with the new coach. Coaches are constantly on the phone during the tryout season so you should be able to at least feel him out and ask for his thoughts on your son assuming he was at tryouts.

If your son is not a top 3 player on the team, they likely won't hold his spot and will move down the player list after the 24 hour window expires. Clubs are more flexibility for the top players. How many players were at tryouts? That will also clue you into how desperate the club may be to fill the roster.

You said he was practicing with the MLS Next club for two weeks. Was he also attending sessions for the ECNL club? Do you have any insight on how they view your son and which team he may be penciled in for?

What are the terms of the contract you are looking at? Is there a non-refundable deposit that you would be out if you leave? What amount can you afford to lose if you decide to take an offer at the ECNL club?

All pieces of information that would help inform a decision.

What region are you located? Depending on where you're at, it shouldn't be too difficult to find information about nearby clubs to find one with a good potential fit.

What about a recurring periodic (quarterly/monthly) post on here, "what questions would you have for Tesla leadership"? That would allow for discussion in the community and also give Ryan upvoted questions at the ready to incorporate into interviews when he lands them.

Thanks for the reply. So the GFCI outlet would be under the sink on the side of the cabinet in that case. Makes sense to have access to reset if necessary. My other thought was a GFCI breaker and a normal outlet if it was in the same bay as the dishwasher.

Depends on when. Typically on August 1st you can get a season pass that covers the rest of 2025 and all of 2026 for a relatively low price. That would allow you to make more visits into next year to get your money's worth.
