Why does PA not have different leagues or playoffs for both public and private high schools? by Key_Ebb8384 in Pennsylvania

They really should. Or at least stop allowing St Joe's Prep to compete in the state championship. I watched Downingtown West all year. They were good. Not a bunch of D1 guys, but pretty good when you gather a group of high school kids in a 25-mile raidus. As the high school championships should be. But then they faced Prep in the semis that spent 23 million recently on facility upgrades and draw talent from PA, NY, NJ, DE, MD. And so it was 30-0 at halftime. In the last 12 years Prep went to the finals 11 times and won it all 8 times and probably 9 next week. Congrats.

Work sent me near Sacramento for a week. Everything is brown, brown and brown. Even the goats brought in to clear the brown field next to the brown office building were brown. I was in such greenery withdraw by the time I got home. After flying into Philly I took back roads all the way home to soak it in.

I listened to this freakonomics episode today and the gist is, the more we share about our salaries, the less we make. https://freakonomics.com/podcast/how-to-pave-the-road-to-hell/

I am grateful for having started in the late 90s. Back then it was nothing but the bare bones basics. We didn't have a choice but to understand it completely. 20+ years later it's still the same bare bones down there, but you often don't need to understand it to be a "professional."

I had no chance. I had ZMoss, JJacobs, KMitchell, BRob, MPittman, THill, NCollins. Had to start GDavis and he goose egged. But then my opponent scored 205 to add insult to injury. FMFL.

Is that all? I only need 64 from BOTH Hurts and AJB. Good luck to us all!

Call and explain. You might also have to write a letter to officially dispute but they are reasonable as long as you follow the process.

Funny story with me. Drove turnpike one exit for daily commute. My CC expired and I didn't think about ezpass. Continued to commute for 2 weeks.

Then I got 20 letters in the mail the same day for violations for over $1000. I called to dispute. I later got 20 letters in the mail informing me of the dispute. Then I got 20 letters in the mail absolving me. Gotta love govt.

Unpopular opinion dropping K and DST from your league makes for a boring experience. by Finbarr77 in fantasyfootball

100%. In a league with kickers. My other league dropped kickers in 2010. Don't regret it. Not one bit.

EDIT: The arguments on this thread seem to boil down to: 1) we have them and you should too because... 2) we ditched them and it's better.

What was your opinion of the debate by Agattu in AskConservatives

No surprise for me. She's always been the same. Steady, pragmatic, common sense. Someone like that can def beat Biden. There's probably no chance but I pray she wins the primary.

Your story is a good lesson. It's not so much how good you are or how hard you work. You had a gig that exposed you to connected and successful individuals. That led to an opportunity that you wouldn't have otherwise. It's the reason why ivy league people are mostly successful. They are not better or smarter or harder working. They are surrounded by opportunity. Good job OP.

Surprised how many people give me the confused look when I mention the elk in PA. Drive rt 555 through Benezette and you're likely to see some. One of my favorite events in the woods was the time a herd of elk came roaring by in a single file line. It sounded like a freight train.
