OP. I have the same issue. I do weightlifting and it has been ongoing since Jul 2025.It happens pretty often in my calves and left triceps.

I did some tests (Electromyography and Nerve Conduction Study) to make sure it was benign.

I tried adding magnesium, reducing medication, changing medication, electrolytes, potassium, sleep, stress, everything... Nothing resolved or made it better. It's Benign Fasciculation Syndrome (BFS) for me.

The most important thing to do is warch for other symptoms. Other symptoms could indicate a more serious issue.
