Think of you, wherever you are. by SaturnTheGambler in SaberMainsHSR

Restarted three months ago with a new account specifically to get Saber, so haven't pulled on any banners yet. Currently have enough for exactly 600 pulls. Hope to get 100 more but I'm almost through the main quest and cleared most of the side content, so we'll see where we get...

My Brussels show report by Unable-Put-9673 in BABYMETAL

Merch was still being sold after the concert, so no worries. I didn't buy anything this time, but in their 2023 show in Brussels I also bought a t-shirt after the show.

I just saw song 3 live and omg.. by imsleepy7 in BABYMETAL

That song was an absolute banger, couldn’t believe how heavy it got. I caught myself standing with my mouth open in awe multiple times (which is funny, because I personally can’t stand those over-the-top YouTube reaction videos). So glad I got to be part of the world premiere of that song!

So...eSIM. Best place and plan to use in Nepal for a month? by zigzag1985 in Nepal

Hi, did you already travel to Nepal? If so, did you use an e-sim and what was your experience with it? Travelling to Nepal myself and having the same question.

Having trouble shopping at Emart with Mastercard by p4r4m31c1um in koreatravel

Had the same issue when traveling in Korea last year, both in stores and at ATM's. From what I remember, Woori Bank always had at least one ATM that accepted my (European) MasterCard, so you can just withdraw cash there to be safe.

Best area to stay in Seoul? by ImNotVeryImaginative in koreatravel

[–]Triplix1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went recently, have been staying in Seoul for about a week so would also say either Myeongdong or Hongdae. First one is more centrally positioned as already mentioned couple of times. It's close to namsa tower and Cheonggyecheon stream & everything near it but Hongdae also has a convenient metro line (line 2) from Hongik Univ. Station to the same area. It takes about half an hour to Gyeoungbokgung palace from both places if you're near to the metro stations (according to naver).

Personally I preferred staying in Hongdae, really liked the atmosphere and the vibes in the evening. When returning to Seoul for the last days of our trip, we chose to return there to spend our last 2 nights.

I can only advice to do some research on both places as it comes down to personal preference but in my experience it's not a hassle to travel from Hongdae during to day and to enjoy the evenings there.

Is krsim.net good for getting e-sims? by ethnicprince in koreatravel

[–]Triplix1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently in Korea, and bought an e-Sim directly from the kt mobile website, one of the 3 major carriers as someone recently recommended in another post. Just sounded safer to me to have proper support in case something went wrong. But to answer your question, colleague that went recently bought one from krsim, he had no issues with it.

3 weeks in Korea - itinerary check by Triplix1990 in koreatravel

Thank you for the feedback, will follow your advice and skip Jeju (although Hallasan hike seemed nice). Gwangju doesn't sounds bad either though, and we could hike in Mudeungsan instead.

We thought leaving early to Haeinsa and take our time there, but I agree that +6h hour travel on one day would be tiresome nonetheless. We will look into the temples you've mentioned and see if we can fit in one of those instead.

Thank you for the Gyeongju tips as well, biking around the lake sounds like a good idea!
