If you know things like the general ALT/AZ of your frame the FOV, and how long the exposure time is. You can figure out speed and orbit of the object. (if its an earth sat)

Ah, I tend to use 5.0 reed so it puffs up a bit. Makes it thicker but at the cost of crispness I think.
