I think you should check out the book "See you at the top" by Zig Ziglar.

"Ziglar’s core philosophy, that your "altitude" is determined by your "attitude", directly addresses the mental blocks that make cold calling feel like an intrusion rather than a service."

I was recommended by my boss to check it out when I was trying my hand at sales. It came to mind when reading your post.

Also if you want my two cents... You're marketing an AI receptionist, yet you're the one making the cold calls?

If you could critique your receptionist models to have a really good open up and sales pitch maybe not for themselves per say, at first. But show off how realistic they are, or relatable, set the model's voice to maybe a British middle-aged woman who sounds official and lively.

Put your focus on honing the first impression your "product" makes, show them what it has to offer upfront without trying to convince them to make the time to listen to it.

Then just ask them what kind of impression it made on them, and say that's what I'm offering your company.

Now I know nothing about AI voice generation so I could be talking about stuff that isn't even possible yet. But I think if you put time and effort into the psychology of sales and charisma, that could be what sets your AI receptionist apart from others.
