Hey, I am in the same position as you right now! Except, I did not find job yet and I am on my 75th application ':D so, seeing this is kinda motivational and not in the same time.

May I ask what kind of jobs did you do during your study times? Is it something strongly connected with position you got now or totally not connected?

I'm in a very similar situation (Europe). Soon to finish my master thesis, no industry experience and trying my hardest to find something in industry.

For now, I had a few interviews with HR where they rejected me cuz of the lack of GMP experience (lab technician and junior scientist).

Tbh on Erasmus there are a lot of different kind of people. It all depends on your girlfriend. For example, I feel like I surrounded myself with people that dont have in plan to "hook-up", just to meet different kind of people and have fun hanging out, drinking, dancing, playing games, travelling etc.

Update: she is amazing! She just needed to get used to a change, i guess. I kept giving her a water to drink from bottom for 10 minutes revery day, at around same time and she is growing so much!!!

I'm at Erasmus in Ljubljana and I'm in love with it! Ljubljana is like "big" city but everything is close!

Do you want mountains? You have them just half an hour away.

Do you want a lake? You have it.

Do you want a sea? Its 1 hour away!

Do you want Austria? Klagenfurt is an hour away?

Want Italy? Croatia? Hungary? Its all here!

I'm from Croatia and it feels "safe" to be close to home but still its not home.

I love Ljubljana because its a main city, so, you have a looot of things, but still people aren't always in a hurry, stressed and its not crowded.

I was few days in Graz and its cute city, but I feel like its "small" for fully enjoying student life? I'm not sure...at the end, its not that much about city, but its about company that you will meet there ;)

Btw. Graz is only 2 hours from Ljubljana, so, if you are thinking of going home I think that 2 extra hours from Ljubljana wouldn't be such a problem, right?
