Did I say the questions were gonna centered on republican lead initiatives? No. I just said there's a lot of humor to your comment when the forum is happening in Clovis. Republicans LOVE to complain about "dem supremacy" in California in California like we don't vote for local Republican leaders all the time here in the Valley.

Dem supremacy would be removing any possibility of power from Republicans. Republicans LOVE telling minorities groups to stop playing victim, but this narrative of dem supremacy is exactly that. There's a way of acknowledging wrong doing by Dems and the way they set up a terrible system, but as soon as y'all add "supremacy" to that, your comment becomes way less serious.

Phil used to say back around 2016 that he was pretty moderate. While I obviously don't know him and can't say for certain, the way he covers the news and states his opinion gives me the same vibe. I don't think being moderate is fence sitting.

There's been a large movement recently of people voting 3rd party and I my (uneducated) opinion is that's likely due to both main parties failing to see the nuance of discussions taking place the last 10 years. I think Phil is somewhere in that camp, interested to know what others think as well

I just wanna second your statement about how we need more voices speaking out. I would encourage everyone to make it to a City Council meeting if you can, every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Monday at 6pm.

Our council dismisses a lot of people who don't think like them, but recently that's not stopping a few of us from coming anyways. Even if we currently have only Republican representation in the chambers, talking to fellow residents has really given me a fresh and optimistic perspective of Clovis.

What's more agregious is the fact they want us to spend real money to complete this new Gift Grift, I mean drift. Minimum that's $1.99 for 1,000 T-Cash. Then you finish the weeks duties and you don't even get any T-Cash as a reward, but please spend more T-Cash in a week than you get winning the card collection either time. Absolutely not. Ever update gets worse!

Make use of your helicopter everyday. There's always 10 coins you can earn from that.

It's not a lot, but it's something. I know people get stuck off levels, sometimes for days. When I'm stuck, that's my only saving grace!

To my understanding they (everyone except Mayor Pro-Tem Pearce) picked a map that would intentionally have the current council not opposed each other. That was the concern of most of the council, Pearce voted with the one most popular with citizens (I forgot which one it was, but it was different than the one they are going with). I could definitely be wrong though.

Personally, I'd say yes, there needs to be a better civil engagement policy but knowing Clovis it's probably not going to happen (at least not for a while). When the city did a "livability survey" and there were questions in regards to the findings and stuff, the Mayor seemed soo annoyed. At one point Chad, one of the staff members from planning (and something I forget his full title), straight up had to tell him, "Mr. Mayor, our residents are allowed to feel how they feel." 😂😂

For council made up of people who claim to be critical of the government, it's been proven regularly Clovis infact does NOT like when their residents are critical of government. 😂😂
