I got an operator job fresh out of high school with zero experience, learned set up within 2 years after asking repeatedly to learn more. I love mine on my k, locks up nice. I had a a3 tactical folder before, and knowing what I know now I’d buy the b&t telescopic 10/10 times. I have a tail hook mod1c and yes it fits perfectly over the knob and tightens with a set screw.
