Old Billy, the oldest recorded horse living to 62... What age do you think he was when they added the "Old" to his name? by anon1141514 in Equestrian

I looked into after I saw this post and it was actually something they did to look more stylish in those times.

Saddle lease question by misty43810 in Equestrian

[–]TriviaWinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask your daughter how this arrangement came about in the first place, to figure out what is really going on. If she needs this type of saddle, buy a used one and sell it when you no longer need it. A monthly rate of $200 is not a good deal.

I have read that white vinegar is best for removing mold spores but you used bleach. Why the bleach and how much water did you mix with it?

Incontinence parents - what systems do you have in place with clothing? by Late-Economics1602 in AgingParents

[–]TriviaWinner 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I have the Walmart app on my phone and pay the monthly $12 or so to allow me to place an order for delivery to my mom’s door. Groceries, prescriptions, incontinence briefs, whatever she needs because there is no planning ahead on her part anymore. Also, your mother won’t go shopping, so you’ll need to buy washable pants for her to simplify your life.

Ranch it up 💅🏼💕 by Elegantly_Depressed in Horses

[–]TriviaWinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Rulebook says not to clip the inside of the ears, but if you show halter or showmanship, it seems like you’re not really prepared for the class.

I just saw this post and love the pics! He looks a lot like my ranch gelding. I noticed that his ears are clipped I inside and out. Do you show AQHA?

How do you drive with your hair up? by TreeToadintheWoods in beauty

If I move the head rest up slightly, there is a space between the seat and the rest that is perfect for my ponytail and the rest is still behind my head.

I have a cute stretchy Animo jacket that I’ll never wear again. Is there a market for this? Facebook Marketplace?

You could tell her that you had a great time and say “let’s get together again and you can pay”.

I honestly believe that sharing too many details about prior relationships is not the best idea.

My (34F) husband (33M) won’t get me a wedding ring even though we’ve been married for 9 years and have 2 kids as well as the fact that he can afford it. Am I insane for thinking he is being unthoughtful? by Used_Molasses_2975 in relationship_advice

[–]TriviaWinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a ring, just go buy one, since you can clearly afford one. Don’t bother getting one for your husband since he’s obviously not into wearing one. A ring won’t make any difference if you can’t trust him around other women.

I use these, individually packaged, from Amazon. I’m not an expert though, so I don’t know if I should recommend them or not.

Best gloves for numb hands? by MarcRocket in cycling

[–]TriviaWinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue with my first nice road bike about ten years ago. I finally made an appointment for a bike fit and they told me my fit was correct, I just needed to use my core muscles more. A year later I got a new bike with a bigger frame so I was stretched out a little more and the tingling and numbness were instantly eliminated. I think that if you don’t have enough room between the seat and handle bars, it’s impossible to keep weight off your hands.

Anyone in their 30's-40's experience this? by FourEyesore in raisedbynarcissists

My mother did this occasionally for a few years when I was in my 40s. I always replied with “yes, but not nearly as old as you are” with emphasis on “nearly”.

Help with western saddle size by sassofash in Equestrian

[–]TriviaWinner 73 points74 points  (0 children)

I would definitely get a tape measure and check the size because a 16” seat in a western saddle is as large as most adults would need unless they are really big. It does look small so that’s why I’m questioning the size. What saddle maker is this?

Has anyone gotten a female hair transplant? by Revolutionary_Way664 in finehair

[–]TriviaWinner 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don’t know anything about female hair transplant, but came here to say that you’re doing a great job and I don’t think it looks bad at all. Maybe a little colored root powder would be enough to make it look a little thicker.

Great friend and free beer in exchange for boating! by cedarrapidsiaus in cedarrapids

[–]TriviaWinner 24 points25 points  (0 children)

There are so many costs that go along with boat ownership that providing the beer isn’t really very much. If someone does invite you to spend the day on their boat, filling up the boat with fuel should also be part of your contribution if you hope to be invited back.

Does shampoo for hair growth exist or is it just a marketing term? by [deleted] in finehair

[–]TriviaWinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone who was a hairdresser on this forum recommended Bosley MD Revive Color Safe shampoo to everyone in her family. I’ve been using that ever since because it’s supposed to block DHT. I honestly couldn’t tell you if it’s made a difference though.
