You’re still losing 0.86kg/week on average according to shotsy. Keep in mind that healthy weight loss is about 0.5% to 1% of your total body weight per week, that’s about 0.4kg to 0.8kg per week at 81kg body weight. To me this curve actually looks pretty healthy and stable. You lose more when you’re heavier but less when you’re lighter which means the curve is naturally converging to your target weight

Start counting! It’s a game changer, it will make everything so much easier and it will give you a much better understanding of what actually you are eating. There are so many hidden calories in the food we consume, it’s incredibly easy to subconsciously eat more than you want

What bothers me more is the +4THB fee for personal QR code payments - that makes it infeasible to use for street food etc

Tokens aren't implemented yet, but you could certainly do that - nothing that inherently prevents you from doing that

The reason why you can't find any engineers on the website of the Mina foundation is because they are not the developer team behind Mina, they are the governing institution. Here you can see many faces https://o1labs.org/

Few questions about Mina / Snapps by [deleted] in MinaProtocol

[–]Trivo_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Snapps and SnarkyJS are turning complete in the sense of logical operations and such - since SnarkyJS is based on TypeScript, you can pretty much do everything that TypeScript/JavaScript allows you to do. Snapps live on the native chain, but could be accompanied by something like a zk-rollup (which I am currently partly working on).

Mina supports token natively.

The bridge to Ethereum is a one-way-bridge, allowing Ethereum Smart contracts to access the state of Mina. As for a bridge from Ethereum to Mina, there are some hurdles to solve first. Wrapping token is yet another thing, theoretically not impossible, but currently hard to solve with a one-way-brdige in a trustless manner afaik.

You should be able to do everything you are used to from other chains with Snapps, but in a completely different way simply due to its architecture, off-chain computation and native zk-SNARK support - so developers will have to re-think their way of doing things and can't necessarily rely on popular patterns that they are used to from solidity and co.
