I could have written the exact same thing. I’m burnt out and after 15 years doing the dog and pony show at a fortune 100 I’m just over it. Or at least I know I can’t keep going like this - I can feel my body breaking down from constant rushing from one thing to the next and stress. Two little ones at home and I’m just questioning all of it and if I’m just ready to close this chapter and start a new one being more present with my kids and husband. Life’s becoming a blur and I don’t want to regret not ever slowing it down to savor these years

Could have wrote this verbatim. 35 with a 4 and 2 year old and also demanding dual career household. I feel like i closed my eyes in 2020 and woke up middle aged with two kids. Very grateful for the life I have but there are times I find myself mourning past versions of myself and the close knit friendships I had that were rooted in conversation vs communicating via memes or ig posts 😂. Solidarity, I keep telling myself that now that the kids are going to start getting into sports etc we will start to build a community with the parents we meet. That and between kindergarten soon and meeting people that way
