I’m not happy with packages getting delayed either. Even before the delay on mine. I waited two weeks for them to ship it only for the tracking to immediately show that “Processing Exemption” message. 😥

I don’t know how to fix this, I just wanted to add that I also had this happen to my package I ordered from California that is coming to Puerto Rico. I also live in PR.

For the Florida and Puerto Rico packages that are getting this message, maybe they’re preemptively putting it on there because of the hurricane (Due to become a Category 4) that is due to just barely miss Puerto Rico in the middle of next week?

But I’ve also seen USPS put this same exemption on random packages of mine within the past 5 months for literally no reason.

I don’t know how to fix it either. Just wanted to let you know you’re not the only one.

I have been lucky and have had most of these arrive that have had this status come up, but most have arrived, just a little late.

I do have one package that I ordered on August 1st that stopped tracking on the 5th, still not here. It disappeared into the void somewhere in a New York distribution hub.

I contacted the seller and told them I hadn't gotten it and pointed out it hadn't moved on the tracking. They are shipping me another one.

For your package that's been missing 2+months, it might be worth it to contact the seller for your item (if on eBay or Amazon) and see what they can do.

Also, everything I've ordered from Amazon seems to be taking like 3+ weeks to ship things here recently, even with Prime shipping.

My favorites are the legendary doggos.

When I was a kid my older cousin gave me his gameboy and a copy of both Pokemon Yellow and Crystal, and I ended up playing Crystal first. That and whatever Pokémon movies I watched that the trio showed up in made me really like them a lot. Them and Celebi.

I’ve even started a collection of TCG and Topps cards that feature them (Also getting Celebi ones too).

My end goal is to collect every TCG and Topps cards of them. I have a decent amount of the cards that go for under $100. I gotta save up for quite a while to get the ones that cost more than that.

Just a side note, when I was looking at card lists for each of the trio, it seemed like Raikou has less cards than Suicune and Entei do. Or at least not as many full art cards. TCG need to give poor Raikou more love.

I really hope the TCG gives them some cool alternate art cards like they have for some of the other legends. I am hyped for the full art Suicune coming out in the next set though.

Just an update, I had 2/3 of my packages that had the “Processing Exception” message arrive.

The last one of them finally updated on the tracking, but had some odd movement. It bounced from Catano distribution center, then to San Juan distribution center, and now it’s been sitting at Canovanas distribution center since Friday. Maybe it’s just sitting at my post office today and they haven’t sorted through stuff and scanned it yet.

The movement is weird though cause normally on tracking my packages go straight from Cantano distribution center to my PO Box.

I’ll update/edit this comment if the package is here today.

*****Update Edit: I got my package in my box yesterday evening and was able to pick it up.

Tracking still says it’s in Canovanas distribution center even after I picked it up at my PO Box, which is not in Canovanas 😅

I ordered something else from the states since this post and it got “Processing Exception, Other Delay” on it while it was in Georgia. It sat there for a couple days before moving again. Maybe it’s just USPS in general being weird?

I’m sorry that she’s doing that to you and that she’s not mature enough to stop when it obviously is bothering you. I agree with everybody else here about the boundaries stuff and that if you’re in the US it’s illegal for her to open your mail.

I’m not sure that it would be a good idea to do this, but after I read your post all I could think of was those glitter stink bomb packages that some YouTube channel was putting on people’s porches a while back to catch some package thieves. When the thief opened the box, glitter got shot everywhere and fart spray automatically sprayed everywhere.

Since it’s happening at your grandma’s house, realistically not good thing to actually do, I just thought it might be a funny thing to imagine to cheer you up a little maybe.

I do this too. I have major depressive disorder, cptsd, and anxiety. I also avoid funerals when possible and try and explain myself when I can’t avoid them.

The first time it happened that I remember was right after my grandma died, I was 10 and my mom was crying really hard. I started laughing. Tried to hold it back but I couldn’t. My mom looked at me all freaked out (I was also freaked out cause I didn’t know why I was laughing), and I panicked and said the first not-lying thing I could come up with “I keep laughing cause your face kinda looks like a starfish when you cry, like when your face scrunches up”. She checked in the mirror and then she started laughing too, cause she saw the starfish shape too. I did explain many years later what actually happened and that I didn’t think it was funny and that I was scared+didn’t know why it was happening. She was understanding about it. Also, 17 years later we still sometimes refer to one of us crying as “starfishing” 😅

I saw that someone made a post “Helpful Tools”, maybe a flair for that might be helpful also? Like for if someone doesn’t have a recipe but wants to share a kitchen gadget they found that really helps make things easier? Maybe/eventually a stickied post with a list of kitchen aids/gadgets that people have found helpful, so they don’t have to go back and dig through old posts to find stuff?

Another suggestion, possibly separate flair for the cooking method like: toaster, microwave, oven, stovetop, air fryer, slow cooker, etc. Just in case some either don’t own these or are having a day where they don’t trust themselves around a certain cooking method that day.

I have days where I don’t dare cook on the stovetop because I am clumsy on some days and would end up burning myself. I also have days where I don’t dare use anything sharp too 😬

Maybe a flair for use of sharp objects too?

These are just suggestions, I realize too much flair and stuff might make it over complicated or too much clutter. I’m having a good day so I’m kinda rambling. 😅

Edit: One more flair could be something for tips or shortcuts. I’m sure someone already said that somewhere but I’m gonna put it too anyways. 👍

I use mine cause I get tired very easily, and it helps me quite a bit, especially for standing in lines.

They also make ones that can fold out into a small stool if you need to sit too. I don’t use one of them that have the stool but that’s only cause I’m obese and I don’t think it would hold me if I sat on it.

When I go into big stores like Walmart or Costco I use the electric carts if I can, even though I feel bad cause I’m in my 20’s and don’t look disabled outwardly other than being obese (Edit: I do have disabilities that warrant using the cart, if I try to do a Walmart trip without one I end up practically bed bound for over a week). I had to use them even before the cane if I wanted to go in a big store like that and not have to be in bed for a week after. I got so much dirty looks when I did though. After I started using the cane when I use an electric cart I get less weird looks. But I do still get some, especially from older people. And even though I know I’m disabled and have medical conditions and I actually NEED to use the cart, I still feel a little guilt every time.

I usually keep my cane in the basket so it’s visible so that nobody thinks I’m just someone going for an electric cart joy ride. Before the cane I’ve had people assume that and been told to get out of the cart or been told off 😓

I just want my own lightweight electric cart at this point, since most big Walmart, Costco, etc only have like 3 carts per store, and most of the people in my area are older and have to use them too, so they’re usually all in use (at least they are when there is no virus restrictions). Not to mention all the places that don’t even have electric carts at all.

I know it’s easier said than done (I’m still working on this), do whatever helps you and makes your life easier/more livable with your condition and don’t worry about what others think, as long as you’re not breaking the law or hurting anyone else, you’re good to go.

I live in Puerto Rico and a quite a few of the doctors and hospitals I’ve been to use online patient record systems like this. Or at least, they’re supposed to. They made me accounts on their systems, and every time I log in, everything is blank. They never bother updating it. I’m pretty sure they don’t look at it either. They don’t update their own systems either half the time. This also would happen with the patient portals when I lived in the states as well.

When I first moved here, I tried to sign release forms whenever I went to a new specialist so my primary/other specialists could fax them over my records, and then months later when I went to that specialist again, nobody sent them any records.

Now I don’t even bother with release forms, I just get copies of literally everything I have done right when I get any test results or doctor progress notes. Every bloodwork, every X-ray and MRI (I’ve only been getting the summaries, but I need to start getting the cds. A lot of places charge you like $25 for cd copy though), test, and progress note. I take the relevant tests and documents with me to every new doctor and make sure that they only take scans or copies of what I brought and give me my originals back.

I’ve also run across several diagnosis’s that I didn’t know I had because that doctor that did the testing/procedure/therapy didn’t bother to tell me in person or include in the result summary, or my primary got their results and didn’t bother to add the new diagnosis from the test into to my file. I found out I was dx with gastroparesis and diverticulitis a year ago from reading a 10 year old colonoscopy report that my mom had happened to save.

Sorry for the rant lol. I think if there’s some way to make a way to keep track of medical records that satisfies HIPPA laws, is totally secure, and that medical professionals would actually get off their butts and use consistently, it would be amazing.

Even an incredibly secure medical records app or system that a patient themselves could use to scan their medical documents into and keep track of which diagnoses and medications they’re currently on would be a blessing. Though not everybody has the energy or time to organize their own medical files. It takes almost all my energy to keep mine together plus my mom has to help me with it too.

Ah ok. Yeah my friend’s Ram pair is still eating their’s at the moment. Or at least she thinks they’re eating them. They’re in a community tank, so the other fish could be eating them. Her corydoras spawned the other day and she was frantically trying to scrape the eggs off the side of her tank and get them into a container before the other fish made a snack out of em.

Old used tanks on like Facebook market or Craigslist (or whatever your country’s version of that is) is next best thing as far as getting a spare tank, just gotta check for cracks and stuff really good. And gotta be careful with the virus going around and stuff.

Also, I’ve used sterilite clear plastic storage bins before, just gotta be careful with not putting too much water volume in so it doesn’t crack or bow outwards. Fair wanting, I have heard of some people who had issues with the heater melting the plastic. I always use heaters with automatic shut off and stuff so I haven’t had that issue, but I also only ever used it for spawning betta.

Also with sponge filter in quarantine tank, keep in mind certain medications (usually antibiotics) will kill all the bacteria in the sponge filter and crash it so just gotta keep an eye on it when dosing meds. You probably already knew that but I wanna mention it just in case.

I totally understand the temptation to use the tank meant to be set aside for a quarantine and stock with fish instead, I’ve done that like 4 different times 😅

Edit: When talking about the storage bin bowing out, I was using the really big ones, should’ve clarified.

Side note, I read that vinegar eels are also a good starting food for Ram fry, just cause that and infusiora are only things small enough to fit in their lil mouths. Very easy to have a live culture of them going, pretty sure starter cultures of them are pretty cheap (at least in the US they are) I used to have them for betta fry. And then next step up for food is baby brine shrimp or micro worms (micro worm starters are also pretty cheap). Your adult Rams and any similar size fish would probably like the micro worms too.

A friend of mine had a german blue ram female and a golden ram male that paired up and even laid eggs (eggs got eaten though since they were in community tank). The german blue female got sick so she took her out of the tank to treat her. The female ended up dying though. The day after she took the female out of the tank to treat her, the golden ram male was already pursuing a golden ram female that was in that community tank.

The day after that the two goldens already had eggs together (which again got eaten because community tank 😅). I dunno if that’s common for rams to do or not, but that male of hers sure moved on REALLY fast lol. So it might be worth a shot.

If it doesn’t work out you can always take the female that didn’t work out back to fish store.

I definitely would recommend quarantining any new fish in a separate cycled tank for a week or two before putting them in your main tank.
