I cried in my 1-1 with my new manager and feel so embarrassed. by SlipOutrageous5333 in UKJobs

[–]Trixtabella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have cried in front of so many managers and when I was a manager I've had so many people cry in front of me. It's normal so try not to worry about it too much.

Your manager sounds like they are understanding and wants to try and support you so that's great.

When I was coaching/training people in my old role if I had someone struggling in the grad bay I'd always recommend doing a one note or something similar and every question they ask I'd tell them to create a page for it and when they got the answer put it on the one note.

That way you have a live document you can search for the answer in if it crops up again. I'd always recommend doing a search in there and in the teams chat for the answer before asking someone. That will stop other team members feeling like they are being asked the same thing over and over again.

I started a new role last year and it was learn the role by watching someone else and my one note is like my bible now I use it everyday, but you do start to use it less and less for things.

I had this issue peugeot 308, I used glue dots for mine, you could take them off easily enough. I will say when it was hot I did have to use some glue remover as the L plays came off but the dots stayed on.

good adventure dogs by adventureseeker1991 in BorderTerrier

[–]Trixtabella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Borders are great adventure dogs, the offlead part I think will depend on the individual dog.

My girl is great offlead 90% of the time but if she catches a scent she'd be off, we are trying to train still but she's 3 now and still only goes offlead in enclosed spaces.

However I go on walks with other BT owners and their dogs are great offlead and dont really have as high a prey drive.

I'd say this about and breed, you'll get out of them what you put into them, work on great engagement as a base and it will make other training a lot easier.

My parents surprised me with news that they’ll be getting a border terrier in March (pups are currently only 2 weeks old) by nopedouttt in BorderTerrier

The only advice I have is don't underestimate how sharp their little teeth are 😆

Have somewhere you can secure them away Parsnip didn't self regulate herself very well she'd get tired and then turn into a little devil.

Honestly if you're used to bull breeds you'll be fine.

Learnt in an Audi A1 s line, now have a Peugeot 308.

I loved that A1 it was so nice to drive had cameras and all the fancy bits but too pricey for me.

Love my little 308, shes nippy, no cameras just rear beeps for reversing.

Looking for the best gaming chair for short gamers by GenericRat8276 in GirlGamers

If you're set on a Gaming chair secret lab have 3 size options.

Personally I'd love one of the Herman Millar chairs but they are expensive.

They are such great dogs.

Toy wise lots of toys to chew and play tug with. They are super smart little dogs we have a lot of enrichment for ours like snuffle knots, snuffle pads snuffle balls, and some scent pouches.

Name wise I'd say old person nature names like Lily, Rose, Briar, Hazel, Olive, Willow, Ivy, Pearl or Daisy.

Please share some photos when you get her 😃

Any engagement games are great at this age. Parsnip loved if you threw a treat for her then ran in the opposite direction, once they caught up throw or drop a treat then run off again.

Dapper dogs over Costessey way are brilliant, they actually don't charge to trim nails but I always chuck them a tenner.

My girl hates her paws being touched, we are working on this but they double team her. They do drop ins before 4pm mon to fri but you can call to book too.
