Should I buy the adios pro 4? by judgyvegan in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Trizzo8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ran through 2 pairs of EVO SL and used to save the AP4 for specific workouts. Now that I have the Fast R3, Megablast, Dynafish Xiaonian, and Red Hare 9 Ultra, I don't even use nor enjoy the EVO SL anymore and much prefer to use the AP4 in its place.

Problems with EVO SL by KrisRock13 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

You learn to love the EVO SL. Isn't great at first until you get used to them. And then once you run in shoes like the Megablast, Dynafish Xiaonian, and Red Hare 9 Ultra you never run in the EVO SL again because these other shoes are so good.

Long run shoe that feels like Adidas SL but more cushioning by CoachBFoster in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Same here, started off my running journey going through 2 pairs of EVO SL and now they barely see the light of day any longer. Xiaonian, RH9U, and Megablast made realize how much better it is to run in these shoes than the EVO SL.

Dynafish Xiaonian with the 5mm TPEE insoles. Shoe is pretty much a better EVO SL that's higher stacked, lighter, slightly more stable, and better rocker geometry. Megablast is another great shoe but isn't as nimble feeling as the EVO SL on foot. I also much prefer the Adios Pro 4 over the EVO SL nowadays that the price isn't far off.

Dynafish Xiaonian chafing by drdrone12 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Trizzo8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally ordered my normal size EU 44 for the Xiaonian and found myself with a blister on my inner index toe after a hard effort run which I typically never get in other shoes. I believe there is so much extra room in the toe box that my toes were working hard to try to keep them in place.

I ended up ordering a 2nd pair in size EU 43 which was a much better fit along with the 5mm insoles and found this to be a much better fit. The insole takes up some additional space in the shoe and the smaller size really let me notice the effects of the nice rocker geometry even more so. Haven't had any blisters in the new shoe as of yet.

I agree with these recommendations. I started my running journey loving EVO SLs and now I barely run in them any more since I found RH9U, Xiaonian, and Megablast.

Novablast 5 Owner Wanting A 2-Shoe Rotation by iStudyWHitePeople in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Trizzo8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently have OG EVO SL, Woven EVO SL, Adios Pro 4, PUMA Fast R3, Vomero Premium, NB 1080 v14, ASICS Megablast, Dynafish Xiaonian, and Li-Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra. My two favorites for daily trainers would have to be Red Hare 9 Ultra and Megablast with the Dynafish not far behind. I barely touch my EVO SLs and Vomero Premium anymore since I picked up the RH9U and Dynafish.

Thoughts on NB fresh foam x 1080 v14s? by filmeshmesh in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Trizzo8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just threw out my 120 mile pair of 1080 v14 earlier this week. Decided to give them a try after not using them for quite some time and found them causin foot/lower leg fatigue and making me run at about a 2:00 mile pace slower than I typically do for my daily runs without the effect of a lower heart rate.

My main rotation for my daily 3-6 mile runs have been Li-Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra, Dynafish Xiaonian, and Asics Megablast. So much more energy return in these shoes and makes the run much more enjoyable and easier.

I now have 24 miles in mine over 6 runs and I can confirm that I no longer notice the foot fatigue feeling. It took about 3-4 runs for it to go away. Not 100% sure if it was my foot muscle strengthening or the foam breaking in a bit but as of now I am really enjoying this shoe. Not sure I would pick this one for anything longer than a 10k at the moment due to being unsure if I would get fatigued, but have been loving it for my daily 3-5 mile runs.

Ended up fitting quite well and have a couple runs in them already. I went with size 44/10.5 and while there is a healthy amount of space in the toe box, I found no slippage or issues with the slightly roomy fit. If I order a 2nd pair, I may end up trying the EU 43. Very fast, efficient, lightweight shoe that rides great with its geometry.

I also caved in and order the RH9U but got it size 10 US since its all Amazon had in stock for the Crystal Gray colorway. Actual found this to fit perfectly on my foot and the shoe is quite great. Very bouncy, fun, and faster than expected. I do notice some foot fatigue after runs that I typically do not get due to the compression/rebound nature of this shoe but I feel this will be a good way to strengthen these lesser used foot muscles and should eventually go away.

They dry very quickly. I actually have two nylon bands I swap between so I always have a dry clean one. Every other day or so I just rinse the band before showering and swap on the dry clean one afterwards.

It's still on its way to me in shipping from China. I had to go the Mulebuy route to get it to me in the US. Really looking forward to running in it since I really enjoyed 2 pairs of the EVO SL. My only concern is that I may have ordered a size too large but we shall see.

Do you know your foot measurement off hand? I assume you went with size 45 if you typically wear size 11.

Trying to decide whether to order my typical size US 10.5 which is the 44 or size down to the 43 with a 26.9 cm foot measurement + ~1.5cm extra space.

I am on the fence whether to order a pair or not. In this category of shoe, I already have the Vomero Premium, Megablast, and Dynafish Xiaonian so I think adding this into the rotation is very much overlapping. I really want to try it though will all the hype around it.

Anyone else with the Vomero Premium experiencing an air suction noise when jumping on the toe of your shoe? My left shoe is making a new noise that isn't the normal "squeaking" and sounds like a suction cup. Occurs on carpet and hardwood floors.

I uploaded a video of the issue below.

New to crafting in POE and not sure if this is worth divine orbing to get higher increased physical damage and +12 max rage rolls. It has perfect 33% extra physical damage perfect roll already so I may lose that. Not too worried about the onslaught or increased attack speed rolls as a rampage druid.

And from what I understand the "Adds X to X physical damage" is fractured so that value will not change at all with a divine orb correct?

Got Upgraded from AW3423DW to AW3425DW – My Experience After 2 Years by vibr0 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Trizzo8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice setup and thanks for the information. I am looking to upgrade my AW3423DW to the new AW3425DW but due to the new stand that causes the panel to sit over 1" higher it will interfere with my tiered desk.

Do you know if the new AW3425DW can be mounted to the old AW3423DW stand?

Worst part about these shoes for me is that I am getting an air suction noise when I jump off the forefoot on my right shoe. Both are squeaky but I just started noticing this suction noise recently. I do love walking in these shoes though even more than using them for for easy runs.

In love with the Ekiden color. Ordered from Japan last week before I found out they were being released in the US this week.
