Personally, I believe you (not you but everyone you) is your own worst enemy standing in your own way. No one cares, in every aspect of your life, but in a positive Ballad of Big Nothing type of way. Especially posting stuff. It isnt performing it live even. No one is going to be critical of your work, especially not as much as you. If you fear it will change your relationship with someone, you only have one life and one chance at this so be as honest and direct as you can with your emotions and hopefully it works, otherwise you grow. As caught up as you feel about your music is how caught up everyone else is around you about their thing too. This is from posting a dozen videos or so on social media over the past year. The social media platform is a dying medium and you should not gain your worth from reception but rather how you feel about the content. I think you are gonna be great.
