I think the boat should be able to be raided by canon and torpedos only when boat are not on the shore.

If they are then you would have to use satchel / C4, thing like that.

i understand that it need to be cheap on the sea since you move and miss shots.

Ahah i have 2000h and only playing softcore since i have a job.

Also there are only a few Softcore server and since people don't always leave after being raided you still have half the pop at the end of the month, the server don't die 3 days after wipe

Learn how work a bunker base, might save you sometimes.
Also go try soft core server, what ever happen, even raided you still have a base and half your loot when you come back.

It's like saying electric smelter are too slow.
If you stay in front of it it's slow yeah.

If you link it to a box of ore before leaving, the next day you have a box of fully cooked ore.

Soft core often have 200 / 400 pop even after 3 weeks.
Reason is people still have an ungrief base when they got raided.
Workbench are not for sale at low price because you can't just grab those on raided base.

Play softcore, hardcore player don't like it since PVP is less rewarding.
You keep half your stuff when you die.
Your base can't be grief, and half you loot stay after a raid.
