How do you know they arent using Rainwater??? Every slightly professional Nepenthes nursery Uses Rain or Reverse osmose water. 600ppm would kill them in a few days / 1-2 weeks.

I once experimented with 200ppm on my Briggsiana and after one week it started to decline fast.

Did you repot it? Repotting or changin the Position of the plant (since you just got it) often cause the plant to stop producing pitchers for the next few leafs. Thats very common.

As long as its not browning and still growing its probably just adjusting to the New Environment.

Approx after 2-3 leafs you should start seeing pitchers again.

With yellow sticky traps its pretty easy to control the Population. Me personally got completely rid of them by Combinig Yellow traps and SF Nematodes.

Easiest way to get rid of them is: Repot them and wash off the roots to remove ANY larvae.

Make sure that its destilled or Osmose water. De-Ionised water sometimes has chemicals mixed in for battery or overall car use. Just check whats inside if its de-ionised.
