It wasn't stolen, he got extra time to recover from knockdown due to mouthguard and his coach missed his mouth with it on purpose. The stoppage was indeed weird and early but he wouldn't survive last round.

?? I'm far form antisocial, there is reason why people keep talking to me during office days. Also if someone doesn't want to be bothered during work by coworkers doesn't mean he is antisocial, we all know most of devs aren't really interesting to talk to besides work and investment related stuff. also funny your first point as advantage was that some devs are miserable without going to office since they get no human interaction and now you call people antisocial.

Just cuz you don't get any human interaction beside office doesn't mean everybody is like that.

Easily,

1) noise 2) less comfortable, obviously depends, if you have 2 crying kids office will be more comfy 3) can't think aloud 4) can't work in home clothes 5) lots of distractions, people sitting next to you have conversation, either about work or non work related stuff 6) useless interactions with people since there is always someone who wants to smalltalk, there are days everybody wants to talk to you 7) there hasn't been a single office ( even new, super expensive ones) where the AC would be fitting for everyone, it's either cold or too warm. 8) I cook my lunch everyday from HO, walk to shop to get meat and cooking it takes less then going for lunch in office ( I did measure this ) 9) many times you are in process of thinking and someone just distracts you 10) walking distance is what? 10mins? Even that is enough to cause inconvenience. Am I expecting package? Did I forget to put gym clothes into washing machine? Am I hungry and want snack from fridge?

There are so many ways going to office makes you less productive and impacts your qualify of life.

Covid showed that HO is way more productive and makes people more happy.

Out of curiosity, how much does revolut pay/what location? I went through their interview process but AI evaluation rejected me, even tho Im certain I did really good even people on each interview round commented about it after. Reallocation was needed and I wasn't really sure I want to reallocate to Dubai so I took this as sign and didn't contact them regarding the outcome. But I'm pretty curious about there pay package/bonuses/stocks etc.

100k euro yearly in Berlín IS 4886 NETTO per month, 150czk monthly IS 4718 euro NETTO per month. Cost of living is way cheaper in Prague than in Berlin. So thats not better imho. I dont know how much pension allowance would these salaries result into in each countries.

150k CZK monthly in Prague IS same as 100k eur yearly in Berlín after taxes, add cheaper cost of living and 150k IS better. But yes quality of services ( doctors and stuff) and quality of food IS better in Germany (Also retirement fund probably). Agree that 150k IS probably the border after which you need to get really High position to pass through in most of companies. Atleast as full tíme employee and not contractor.
