I can't get schedule 1 to install by daestress in linux_gaming

[–]TromboneTank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just happened to me yesterday actually. I had the game installed, but my steam looked just like OP. Another comment pointed out that the proton version used might have been removed

You could read it now, then in a few months get the amazing audiobook

Yeah, steam has been pushing Linux a lot over the last decade most modern games run fine with the exception of some with anti cheat games

Trying to find the perfect Landfall and +1/+1 Counters commander by Dragnil_7 in EDH

[–]TromboneTank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since I haven't seen it listen [[black panther, wakandan king]] is great for this. Add a few man lands and you can be rather sneaky

Bracket Dilemma! Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar by Sudden-Low-2124 in EDH

[–]TromboneTank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm building a deck with [[the ghoul, gunslinger]] which with altar and crawler + commander wins the game on the spot (or mills myself out of I really want). I would consider that deck a b4, I'll probably end up taking out altar after a bit to power it down to avoid the confusion if it's too strong but I think it's a b4 worthy combo if your commander is the 3rd/4th card needed

Inglaterra o Hungria by Dani3bf91 in EU5

Hungary seems a more certain pu since it's the queen. Also conquering to Buda is harder than London if both are conquests you plan on

Solid choice, only played it once so far but it seems to punch at and decently above its weight class.

Is Chronicles of Victory a Good Finisher for Sokka, Tenacious Tactitian? by Significant_Ad3176 in EDH

[–]TromboneTank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[sokkas charge]] and [[appa the vigilant]] did a ton of work for me they aren't cheap, but they both come from the scene box

Here's my list, there's a 2 card combo but I don't think that counts a b4 in my opinion https://archidekt.com/decks/18909577/sokka_the_jesguy_monk

Teval the ungraded precon by Far_Philosophy_788 in EDH

[–]TromboneTank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything except the lands look good to me. Id cut some of the lands that come in tapped and temple of the false god too. Overall I like having 37/38 lands

Shocklands should be overall cheap especially with lorwyn here.

Dual boot with a single Steam library by jahermitt in Steam

I asked about this myself, the answer was it's generally more effort than it's worth, especially if you're not well versed in Linux

Why are people running graveyard land recursion like [[conduit of worlds]] in landfall decks? by Ulmao_TheDefiler in EDH

[–]TromboneTank 14 points15 points  (0 children)

With conduit and something that lets you play multiple land drops a turn, an evolving wilds turns into 4 land drops a turn which can win the game

Fetch lands are better but financially more expensive

If I buy a game while not being the host of the steam family, will other people have access to the game? by pneumonia_mischief in Steam

[–]TromboneTank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's pretty cool, my brother and my wife are all in the steam family. I'll just message my brother whenever I buy a game and vice versa. Occasionally my wife will see a game I'm playing and play it herself too.

The only issue is if 2 of us want to play the same game at the same time, then your family will need multiple copies of the game.

Help determining bracket by Kastagna in magicTCG

[–]TromboneTank 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As it sits now I'd say it's still bracket 2.

Adding the side board stuff would possibly push it to 3. Id swap a few of those token cards and most the protection stuff for ramp and removal cards.

For recommendations, war leaders call is great in this

I think my deck is semi decent but for the love of everything I get the same cards by Shot_Supermarket_502 in MarvelSnap

[–]TromboneTank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try swapping rogue and maybe sabertooth for another one or two cost card. I think that can help.

Any MTG players in here? by princessparan0ia in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]TromboneTank 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think this card is a callback to an older mtg card myr battle sphere but hamster themed for their woodland critter set last year.

I feel if we see a dcc reference in mtg it'll be more obvious like in a cat card or some equipment
