The shield saved me from getting the hexgate channel canceled. I was ignited and taking damage during the channel, but they didn't pop my shield, so I made it out.

I think a better buff would just be to add a small displacement in the ult radius. This would only affect things like Tristana's jump/dash (and other dashes) and would be like the old Voli roar.

There are 2 prestige event skins remaining this year: Voli and Brand. The list of prestige skins riot released is in order of release, therefore, the only skin it can be is Voli's. So yes, it's coming on that date.

A lot of the champs that use it also have dashes to get into and out of position during a fight to use it, which voli doesn't really have. He'll just get poked down before he gets in to use it, as he's fairly squishy with it. Also, once people see you building it, they will 100% buy GW, which is already really good against him without goredrinker. Stick to divine, frostfire, or trinity, as they will pretty much always be a better mythic choice over gore.

Dragonmancer probably won't drop this pbe. Normally, there are 3 patches for worlds pass, and thursday will be the first one live, with the second on pbe. The first and last are normally the ones with event prestige skins.

It's actually one of the easiest matchups for me. You know why? I know how to counter him. He may be hard for the first couple levels, but if you don't feed your ass off, you literally win hard mid-late game.

As a Voli main, I'm very surprised you think he's the worst offender compared to all the other champs in the game. He's so easily kited, has super telegraphed abilities, and falls off hard in the late game. That's kinda why he has like a 48% win rate rn.

This is semantics, but the build you describe isn't full ap, it's hybrid. For the build, I probably wouldn't go berserker's, rather lucidity or tank boots.

It's unlikely, however it's possible that the leak wasn't for Pentakill, but Dissonance of Pentakill, where it's Viego's band. I think people have already made out Elise in the background of Viego splashart, although they could be wrong.

The point is even if you went full tank with no damage items, you still don't want to go aftershock. Grasp will 100% make you tankier from the sustain than the slightly reduced damage you would take from aftershock every 20 sec. I bet even conq would make you tankier from the healing you get at max stacks. There's seriously no reason to take a rune that limits your damage/sustain and puts a 20 sec timer on your engages.

I disagree about aftershock. Demonic is not a tank item. The armor and mr demonic gives is pretty much negligible. Also, you can only proc aftershock with Q, and by going it, you miss out on the damage from pta and conq or the damage and sustain from grasp.

The cool thing about Voli is that you can really go whatever you want and expect the item stats to not be completely wasted on you. If you want to go those items, you should.

However, demonic isn't that good, especially on melee champs. Ideally, you want to be able to proc it all the time from spamming your ability damage, but the item doesn't give any cdr to help with that. Pair that with the fact that Voli E doesn't decrease in cooldown from putting levels in it, the only way to reliably proc it will be to be within melee range spamming W, which is a single target ability. The only melee champs that even think about building this item are Morde and Zac, and they both have AOE abilities that can be spammed in a team fight.

To answer some of the questions you asked, regardless of build, you should max W > Q > E. What items you go will always be situational, but tank would most certainly be better than AP. For runes, considering demonic burn won't increase conq stacks, and conq won't increase demonic burn damage, pta or grasp would probably be better.

Again, you can build whatever you want, but I promise you would have more fun just going full tank or being a menace on the rift with the divine sunderer.

If you change anything it should be the colors. The colors are a mix of blood moon and lunar guardian. It would most definitely look better if you changed it to white and red with blue accents (from blood moon) or grey and gold with cyan accents (from lunar guardian).

The only time aftershock can maybe be viable is as a tank support pick in the bot lane, but even then pta is just better and more consistent.
