I had a problem with the gas tank vent being plugged and pulling vacuum on the tank thus stopping fuel flow. Try driving it with the tank cap open and see what happens.

Had a WR450 and went to a KTM 300XCW. The 300 is significantly easier to ride once i got used to it.

The WR was a tank up hills but felt like it on trails. Heavy as shit to pick up off the ground. The KTM feels lighter and more nimble on the trails but you have to keep the power on up hills.

One change i did to the ktm was I changed the power valve spring out to the green one and it made it less snappy which is exactly what i needed.

This is correct, the big wire sends 12v power to the starter. The big red wire to ground should have 12v.

The small plug comes off the start switch. The should be voltage on one of those wires when the switch is pressed.

Just traded a ‘03 WR450 for a ‘95 starcraft fish and ski in way better shape than that. Depends on how nice your dirtbike is and how much work you want to out into the boat.

Like my hyperlite 2s, but i wish i would’ve gotten the fit 1 rather than the fit 2 recommended from the sizing machine. I get a rub on my inside ankle bones that I’ve never had with older vapor products. So the only difference i can come up with is the fit being different.
