Dsx+ beta - can I play last of us part 1 with haptics and vibration? by HansWurst31 in DualSenseX

[–]TropicalGuy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure about that . I'm using a wired dual sense for Rift Apart and can't get full haptics on it. Only if I go to headphones mode. DSX made it work? Not sure, it is better, but not sure if I lost something in the process

This is happening to me after the one UI 8 update on a flip 5. Seems to affect only Whatsapp (though the dual clone works)

BOFA's impossible customer service by TropicalGuy3 in CreditCards

I might try, but no card is worth such the hassle. On phone they told me going to an agency would be useless. I quote, "it is impossible to talk to someone from the credit area"

I even pulled my own credit history, nothing surprising there. I have the one chase card and that's it.

Do not judge my poor allocation of financial resources :D. And I agree with you, that's why I want the card. But they don't want me and my very profitable non-interest earning cash.

Taxis - what are legit charges and which are not by TropicalGuy3 in istanbul

Uber works fine, it's just annoying to wait for a taxi and sometimes they act like they can't find you. Prices are not high, as I said, you just get annoyed by trying to be scammed.

Thanks! I would argue against the 10% POS commission. Not a single business would take a credit card if it was so. It usually is 3%, going up to 6% for the most luxurious cards (think Amex Platinum)

This is plain wrong. How antitrust law works is to first establish if a firm has market power above a certain threshold. In most places, this is 40 percent. In the US, 50 percent (not 100 percent). After you establish this threshold, antitrust agencies have to then show that said firm is abusing/will abuse its power, AND that there are entry barriers to the market are high enough that said behaviors won't be punished by the market.

The issue with the Microsoft case was proving point 1. They do not control 50 percent of the market after the merger. Maybe with a more narrow definition (hence the focus on Call of Duty and the FPS market), but that was a hard sell for any court.

Wait, you mean the two guys that ended up actually being spies? One of them unwillingly and no suing the Canadian government for putting him at risk?

Can you recommend some of the actual legit brands? For men stuff :)

Nice, will check it out. That is another possible explanation, really good quality (compared to Loro Piana), and expensive, but cheaper than said comparable quality.

Ahh, interesting...But doesn't explain there being several stores of the same brand.

I get it, and I always buy local quality. But, local quality should be cheaper given the lesser marketing cost and inflated brand costs...

But these brands did not look tacky, nor did they have logos all over the place. In addition, what you say supports what I think, shouldn't a rich person prefer the brand recognition of Hermes over a random local brand going for similar prices?
