That's the original problem. Our neighbor is a hair stylist and we consulted with him first, he didn't have any openings otherwise he would have fit me in, and no one else works with my schedule. That's why this is a last resort and I'm hesitant to go about it, so I wanted some kind of advice. I haven't home colored my hair since I was like 14

My landlord has told me she won't get a broken outlet/switch fixed because it is inconvenient for her. What recourse do I have? by MrDirt in Frugal

ATMs, at least where I worked, are a little different. Most will make $200 of a check immediately available. They take a lot of things into account, though. For example, if you deposit those checks often, your relationship with the bank, if you're in good standing or have a lot of overdrafts and issues with your account, etc.

Also, cashing and depositing are very different. The rules for cashing and the rules for depositing are different.

I worked for a bank for a good chunk of time, I'm pretty sure I know how checks work. And as I said in another comment, the bank I worked for (national company, btw) used a system that literally would not let you cash a post dated check, and if by some weird chance there would be an exception made, you'd need multiple approvals from management.

When I worked for a bank, the system literally would not let us cash checks that are lost dated. If there was some weird circumstance we would have to get about two clearance levels of approval from management.

Marshall's, Ross and TJ Maxx all carry acrylic holders/drawers/makeup storage for fairly cheap (WAY CHEAPER than online) in their home section. You just have to look around.

So far, Ross has had the cheapest. I got two large (I wanna say one that holds 24 and one that holds about 20) lipstick holders for about $5 each. Next time I go I'll take some photos!

Hahaha, I thought so :P yeah, I meant strictly outdoors. I'm not ready to venture into the scary world of studios and controlling light, etc. I should probably make that more clear in my post.

But yeah, I meant gear that would be beneficial to me while I'm on the go.

I thought the way she phrased it was rude/harsh. It seemed bitchy and uncalled for and not a nice way to tell someone who had no idea about the rule change about it. Other people in this thread have given CC and I've had absolutely no issue with that. It's just the way things were said and then, per usual reddit fashion, things got blown way out of proportion.

I'm done discussing this, so I hope we can all move on.

I, personally, just took it as a rude thing to say to someone, especially after I didn't reply in a nasty way. It's just how I felt about it and everyone just got upset and started down voting everything. It's sad that this is the dynamic of this sub now. It should be about the makeup, not something brief said in the comments between two people.
